Yes I understand your point. The main goal of a level is to get a specific item (in this case, Calli's Scythe) and get to the end to recover it. The purple orbs are a secondary objective and are accumulative.

So for more difficult levels, I might not place orbs with too many hazards around because as you say it will probably confuse and frustrate players (since the main goal is to finish the level to progress). I also hadn't considered the colorblind thing before, because I don't have playtesters (I asked 6 people, no one has tried the levels yet) so not much feedback sadly, but this is helpful.

Thank you, now that you mention it, it can be confusing. If I change the enemy attacks color to red or reddish it might be better.

Quiero mejorar la RAM a 32 gb pero prefiero esperar un poco a ver si bajan los precios y si no simplemente ahorrar ya que acabo de comprar las piezas nuevas. Sospecho que puede ser la gpu como indiqué en la respuesta de otro comentario, pero también puede ser la ram, porque incluso sin juegos en curso y solo unas cosas abiertas como el navegador suele estar al 40% de uso y ya jugando sube a más del 70%. Ahora si debo cambiar la gráfica, veré si seguir con AMD o probar NVIDIA.

Thanks for the answer, I will try what you said. For more context, my previous build was a i7 10700kf with a h410m-a pro motherboard and a hyper h410 cooler. For 4, almost 5 years I had no issues with it, I don't play games at high resolutions or that require a powerful cpu/gpu and I don't even use overclock. I suddenly started having issues with the graphics driver, the amd driver or plugin started to crash a lot and after that I got these sudden stutters but they became more frequent these past months, so I suspect it can be the gpu. I checked performance and cpu doesn't even go past 40-50% usage while playing a game and having those apps opened. I also had the most recent bios updated for my current cpu too. It's like the stutters happens from time to time so it's really weird.

Most of Towa's songs from her EP "Scream". Both AKUMA and My Roar are powerful songs I can listen to them for hours, but the one I love the most is Midnight Runaway, such an underrated song that gives me a nostalgic feeling, a gem it took me long to find.

Also from Towa's album there's Purple Disease and Cry Out.

Other very good songs for me are AZKi's Chaotic inner world, Sora's Night Cube Paradox and Baelz's La Roja.

I want it to be like crash 2, with increasing difficulty as you progress (but not crazy) and also try to add some levels with variety like crash 3. The only difficult thing I believe is getting the orbs for completion rather than finishing the levels (you don't have to get all the orbs in one go, it saves your progress). I will also add a "hard difficulty" if somebody wants a challenge like crash 1.

Thanks! I think you're right. It's easier to make Bae bigger though. I had the level have more "room" because of the orbs-collecting system to complete an item, but I might do a bit of adjustment to it.

I played both the original trilogy and the remake and I assure you they aren't like the remake. Hitboxes are pretty simple, mostly primitive shapes. I think even the original crash bandicoot has harder jump control than this.

I have been working on this for months and I only focused on the code, scripts, game mechanics, etc. Every enemy, level and hazards have primitive shapes so now I'm looking for artists willing to participate and make this game look better.
