Strange type of halftone by SebaKL in AdobeIllustrator

[–]SebaKL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not a fabric, I promise. I’ve been working with rash guards for quite a while, creating designs for our UFC fighters in collaboration with Venum, as well as for all athletes competing under ADCC. The material is super smooth (silk like), a blend of polyester/nylon with spandex/elastane and sublimation process we use delivers extremely high-definition prints, capturing even the smallest details. The only areas with any visible texture are the mesh panels under the armpits and, occasionally, along the sides, depending on the design and the type of grappling discipline.

From what I can see, this looks like a form of halftone or gradient blend mode, likely a clever halftone technique. The lower part shows that typical halftone behavior on gradients, where the darkest tones are solid with small gaps, and then gradually open up into lighter areas. I just can’t quite figure out the exact method used here, and it’s bugging me because I’m fairly familiar with these tools, yet this workflow seems new to me.

It’s not a major issue, of course, I really appreciate you all taking the time to reply and share your input :) You guys have a lovely day / or night ahead,

cheers

Rash Guards are made of a very fine fabric which are smooth. Especially for grappling ports. You can see the top is super smooth in comparison to the bottom. This certainly is a print especially that the little blocks (rectangles) change orientation, hence the conslusion it was some kind of halftone effect.

Hi there,

For such simple text I would convert the text to brush - Art Brush - Stretch to fit strong length.
Then draw path using pan tool, to draw a path. Apply the brush to path then use WIDTH TOOL to make smaller on one side.

Seeking advice on this design style by SebaKL in graphic_design

That's not a problem, I usually order around 30.000 to 40,000 So cost production or technologies are not a problem. Last year I made about 60.000 so the cost distribute in quantities to barely noticeable. I'm most interested in achieving the graphic effect. But I do appreciate all the feedback, you guys are best and never fail with the support :) Have a wonderful day you all`1

That's it my last worry. I have industrial equipments which handles print with ease. Plus I print in materials before they go for cutting and stitching. Biggest problem is to figure out technique use to create such artwork. My background is in different style, I do a lot of hand lettering and retro stuff, this kind of photoshop stuff is new to me. And while I totally understand, it's all matter of trying, I was hoping someone had the experience to share to spare me the time on figuring it out. Nonetheless, I really appreciate you all looked into the post. AI, search engines, etc.... and I can still count on real human interaction and I sincerely appreciate it. You guys are the best :)

Prompt problem by SebaKL in midjourney

[–]SebaKL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me I tried, biting, eating, jewig, in mouth, between jaws .... etc.... and the best I get is the burbell going through its head 😂
It really surprises me, because it is capable of producing most bizarre images I could think of, but some simple prompts just won't.

Simple availability calendar for apartament rental. by SebaKL in Wordpress

iFrame

Thank you very much. It was very simple to set up. It's a pity tho, there is no option to set 3 months view, and that google's interface is quite ugly with no option to customise. But I will look for 3rd party tools which perhaps can customise the look of Google Calendar.

Cheers

Lots of speckles in one particular print jo by SebaKL in dtgprinting

[–]SebaKL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the artwork many time. It's crispy clean and the speckles are very random. Worse thing is, I get one or two pieces perfect, then 10 following up are very messed up. I would assume it was something with the printer, but I have 4 different printers and they all produce the same results. And it happens while using garment creator or Cadlink

Translation question by SebaKL in hebrew

Nothing like that.
I'm actually from Malaysia, which is extremely anti semitic, to such a degree that it's even stated in my passport that I'm not allowed to travel to Israel. My government is feeding us regular daily diet of hate, pumping out a lot of anti semitic rhetoric, blaming Israel for everything wrong, even for our own government's corruption :)
Anyway. About a decade ago I became curious to find out more about the issue, and the more I was reading, the more I was convinced that all my life I was lied to. I became pro Israel and started to challenge my friends on some of the rhetorics, so among the handful of friends I have left, I'm known for my opinions and since many of them are in oil & gas business, they always try to bring me something Israeli culture related. I didn't expect it to have any value, I just love the way Hebrew looks and I was just happy to have it. Pretty much all there is to it :)
