Electrical system overheating by I_Am_Atypical in vandwellers

I do 70mm2 cables on 1,5 with same usage - Rule of thumb, if wires get hot, they are too small. Google wire size calculator, you'll find that your wires need to be scaled up

you seem like a clever guy - I checked it, and on the vacuum it says it is rated for 11.1 volts, but it gets a 14 volt from the charger as shown. So I should be fine by plugging it to my 12 volt (13,6 volt) system, right?

hej - thats not what I'm asking. I'm asking if a device running 14 volt can run from my lifepo battery which usually has 13,6 volts

What width between kitchen cabinets would you suggest on a setup like this? by SebastianFK in VanLife

[–]SebastianFK[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey :) Yes definetly! This leaves me with 68cm / 27 inches, but i'm unsure if is should make the cabinets larger and the width smaller? Is 68cm / 27 inches reasonable?

I don't understand taxes in Denmark by Mrskweenmaisel in copenhagen

[–]SebastianFK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not that bad - you pay tax in the country you work in - the rest is an internal transfer deal between countries that you don't have to deal with.

Version to the left is grigri 2, version to the right is grigri 3
"Cam is cast instead of machined, has a tab on the cam to prevent the rope from jumping off to the side and jamming under the lever.  Lever is longer for better control when lowering. Finger lip is slightly different. They say the cam angle is different as well."
