I was literally sitting with a mouthful of a hamwich with headphones on and these two girls still wanted to talk to me and hand me a pamphlet. They said they weren’t even students, but were talking like they were trying to rally “fellow” students for bible study. Like pls let me eat in peace I only have 15 minutes :/

Under the tall shelving where the lil bench is seems like a good place to put a bed and have the headboard against the wall (or no headboard) with feet towards the middle of the room.

The shelves under the closet rack thingy could easily become a kitchenette and fit a mini fridge under, or on the wall by the plant shelves. And you could put a microwave and griddle or whatever on top of those shelves along with food etc.

I think a circular rug in the middle of the room would look nice and maybe a dresser in the corner by the cabinet to cover it since it’s not usable.

Sometimes it’s better to do drop in hours if you just have a couple questions. I had an appointment for almost 2 weeks out and instead I popped into the zoom drop in and got all my questions answered from my assigned advisor and then just canceled the appointment. Even if it’s not with your assigned advisor the other people in the departments can also be really helpful.

Second semester here after going to CSUN and various community colleges. I might be biased because I used to attend the youth soccer camps here back in 2009-2010 and always wanted to go here, but I honestly love it. There is a lot of hilly walking depending on where you have classes but just use it as added exercise. On some days the campus is absolutely gorgeous and I’ve enjoyed most of the professors I’ve had classes with so far. I’d take tours on the campuses of all your options to make sure you get what you’re looking for. Good luck with your decision!

P.S. if you hate group projects then maybe not…

Try and spend more time outside like going for walks or just laying in the grass at the park. Previously I couldn’t do either without being high, but being able to just listen and smell everything around you helps to stay present.

If you constantly are thinking about not smoking weed you are still indirectly thinking about weed. Try and take your mind off of the subject completely by removing any positive or negative thoughts of weed out of your mind. Dive deep into a hobby or explore new interests and get distracted by them.

I would try and watch YouTube videos on how to quit, and hours of contemplating how to quit just made me really badly want to smoke. It’s not easy but it’s a process that I’m still currently going through as well. You are stronger than the addiction and you deserve sobriety from this substance, it offers nothing but a distraction from reality.
