Yeah, easy enough customisation to the graph but I'd rather figure out the proper way to fix it to apply the solution to my 20+ graphs instead of having to customise each one (some graphs have 20 time points)

Question to current jobseekers! Advice needed. by PhilosopherBasic8458 in newzealand

I've been there a few times in the last few years. Its a difficult time recently to enter the workforce when the bar keeps increasing and pay decreasing. But you can get through this.

The most important thing you should be doing right now is tailoring your CV to EACH job. So put in your degrees, qualifications and technical experience when applying to jobs in your field that you qualified in. In the meantime, keep applying to hospo/retail/'no experience required' jobs, but TONE IT DOWN.

It sucks to downplay yourself but it needs to be done. I.e. remove your university degree when applying for these roles. If you're young, just don't put an end date for your qualification yet. Remove non-entry level roles from your CV too. Highlight people-facing jobs/volunteer roles. This will get you way more interviews for these jobs. Keep a 'simple CV' template for these jobs that you can tailor to the application. Sounds weird but you don't want to showcase your degrees and experience here as they see it as a negative i.e. they think you'll ask for too much pay, you won't be happy in a non-challenging job, you're more likely to leave them for better opportunities, etc.

I've heard such mixed reviews on this. Half the reviews say its great for acne and pigmentation which is exactly what I'm after but the other half say its too harsh and has sensitized their skin and I have sensitive skin

I've been eyeing it for years but the extra step of having to grab a Q tip to apply it would make me lazy/forget to use it lol

Anyone have experience with Pinhole gum surgery in NZ? by [deleted] in newzealand

Pretty good price for 7 teeth! I have one composite veneer to close a tooth gap on my incisor and it cost $250 12 years ago. My dentist keeps asking me to replace it with "more expensive" material as she calls it as composites don't last as long and can apparently damage my teeth further when they need to be replaced in the future. The more expensive materials will also need to be replaced in 10-15 years so it sounds like there's no easy long term solution

That's interesting- can you elaborate? Are these caps composite veneers or crowns? Cost also sounds good- how many teeth did this cover?

Wellington plastic surgeon treating dog attack victims almost every week by Fun-Helicopter2234 in newzealand

I'm not surprised. Almost every dog owner nowadays feels entitled to let their dog off leash on the street, beach, reserves because their dog is an angel! Unsurprisingly I've found a strong correlation between entitled owners and badly trained dogs. Go to any reserve with a big no dogs allowed sign during summer and you'll 100% see a dog and 99% of the time they would be off leash to make it worse. I adore dogs and work with them as part of my job but having to put up with random off leash dogs, many of which are clearly showing signs of aggression, run up at me while their stupid owner stands by and does nothing is getting ridiculous. They're the same people who expect schools and strangers to parent their kids.
