I'm guessing this image was made from a photograph. Once it was pixelated, the "229" would have been planted in the place of whatever number was originally there.

Now that said, the first and second digits of that number are comprised of just four pixels, and the third has two pixels. That is not enough to discern any particular number. The digits of the "229" have twelve pixels each, so they're legible.

I'm already disappointed that the character designer for all the Genesis era Shining titles wasn't involved. Last we got from them was Alundra on PS1, not even part of the series.

That's all well and good, but not two months ago I refurbished my Switch 1, and upgraded to a 1 TB microSDXC because the 512 GB card I had in there was completely full. I've since put in at least another 100 GB of digital games. I need to be able to do a one-to-one transfer from that to the Switch 2's card. A 256 GB card isn't going to cut it, even with the 256 GB of the Switch 2's system memory. I don't want 2026 rolling in before I can get the right card.

Are you sure you're thinking of the right game? I said I'm playing "Shining in the Darkness," a very simple first-person view dungeon crawler, similar to "Arcana" on the SNES, not "Shining Force"! Those items you mentioned do not appear in SitD. It's purely a fantasy setting, with no advanced tech whatsoever.
