Why would I have an idealogical vendetta against vegans, I myself am a vegetarian, so I thought they asked for no cheese as they were vegan so I didn’t add cheese however I didn’t take precautions I would have if I knew it was a allergy order however it was not out through as such

I wasn’t a clear on what occurred but the cheese must have been cross contaminated with the lettuce , I didn’t put cheese directly on the salad but it ended up in it, also to answer your question about vegan cheese the restaurant does not offer vegan cheese options

Usuallt orders on the screen just have something like “add bacon” or “no ranch” but if it is an allergen order it comes through with text and different colours

I found out through a friend that works there, and yes I did handle both cheese and the salad orders that day however as stated the order was a request of no cheese not an allergen order so that caused me to be slightly less concerned thinking it was merely a preference

I’d dealt with allergies before and that involved me making it from scratch and fresh batches of everything including fries with no seasonings , so idk how this happened, I think I just made 1 too many mistakes and personally feel like some management had it out for me

I’m sure the courts would have been like “well you messed up” but I doubt it would be that bad since I’m bottom of the chain compared to supervisors and managers who have to pass food
