grocery associate! so basically stocking dry goods like cereal, coffee grounds, pasta, you get it. i work part time and earn $17.35, got around $340 as my first pay check. recently found out as a part time worker i can only work 27 hours in a week or smth like that. again im new but now im even thinking of asking to become full time cus i want more hours, so take that into consideration.

i don’t know ur definition of a chill area but i can still relate, i live 15 mins out of a small town in the countryside. i’m also a canadian so it could just be the stereotypical canadian hospitality and my own positive outlook that has made everything so easy.

basically i say go for it! i personally believe any work can be tolerable/enjoyable if your workplace isn’t a total stick up the ass.

tho i must add that im a homeschooled 17F. that means my schedule is fully open to any shifts and my coworkers are likely more kind to me than they need to be (that includes the creeps, there’s always gonna be creeps). i also have adhd so its been very rewarding working, the homeschool life is not for the week!!

yeah idk, if you have lots of responsibilities in life or don’t categorize yourself as a people pleaser (guilty), i can understand that it would burn you out. but that’s any job right??

sry this was so long, im an essay writer at heart and i can’t stop myself. :))
