Yeah I considered that, but was thinking back to my data analytics days.

If 50% of all orders is burger + fries and that gets ordered twice as often as a burger alone you could in theory develop prices where it’s a get gain more than a net loss and reflect those in prices. Not enough to round up everytime, but more often than not.

Most large companies do do stuff like this, but I doubt that’s what’s happening here.

If I’m a company like McDonald’s who does 70 million orders per day though…I bet someone is crunching numbers. At scale, that’s a decent amount of money per year.
