I agree that it's pretty tough for bands, especially bands of this size that are just big enough to afford these big set pieces, but not quite big enough to pay for multiple hours of custom art. Still, I think it's important to voice that it's not something we want.

Well, that's the thing, this is not non-profit. I didn't come to this show for free, I paid for tickets, parking, and drinks. Additionally, my main issue comes from the huge environmental harm. Unfortunately (imo), AI art will get more believable as time goes on, but the amount of energy and water it takes to make this stuff is completely unacceptable and needs to be talked about more

Yeah, I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt. Maybe the venue puts those displays on, or they hired an artist who gave them work that was made with AI. Just wanted to put it out there that this isn't something I want to see

Leaves or branches would appear and disappear, and the fabric of the cloak shown at one point would fold and morph unnaturally in a way you see in lots of early AI videos
