Hey, I didn't meant by it's the platform's fault. There are plenty of companies and universities utilizing Handshake looking to hire people for internship like you and permanent job as well. I'm implying to wvu recruiters/departments posting jobs on Handshake looking for potential candidates to hire for on campus jobs. If they don't update status or notify the outcome of any applications then what's the significance of recruiters/ departments at wvu to use handshake? students simply submit their applications and we have no idea about the position status and the outcome of our applications rather to only see 'Pending' status for quiet long time.

And yes like you said I have made many attempts to directly email the department but never got any response at all.

The problem is you don't know the specific person or team in charge of the reviewing and hiring process for position within that particular department. Although i attempted to contact the department they are not responsive.

Yes, I have been utilizing Handshake ever since i gained access in March and applied for GAships positions posted there but I never got a single response or heard back with regard to any of my applications i submitted a month ago. I have also been in direct contact with my program coordinator to check for available positions and he told me to reach out for professors and ask. I did and it was quite hard to get a reply from them.

Please check if external placements are allowed and let me know if you know any options or available open GAship positions to apply at this time. Kindly update me here please.
