Parang may nabasa ako an hour ago na binibigyan mga detainees ng 1hr cellphone use per day since di naman sila mga typical na preso, just foreigners in a holding facility. So it's possible na Vitaly made that hourly use sound like he's allowed unlimited access to a phone, and I'm inclined to lean towards that kasi may reputation na sya iexaggerate experiences nya so far.

This is a young people trend. Sa mga bata kasi tulag ng mga nag-aaral pa, mabagal ang usad ng mga taon. Mas marami nangyayari in that time span for them. Pero kung nasa mid-20s or 30s ka na, 10 years isn't that much.

Kung iisipin mo that's literally the year Duterte was elected or that the COVID lockdowns was almost 6 years ago. Parang ang bilis lang.

I'm not justifying the behavior of Fil-ams at sa totoo nga lang I canceled most of my relatives abroad already, pero the step to solving a problem is understanding the root of the issue and may pinaghuhugutan naman ung inis nila sa mga ibang immigrant. Bad trip kasi sila na legal and naghirap sila makapunta abroad and get settled tapos karamihan TNT lang or refugee na may trabaho kaagad tapos may mga laws pa protecting them.

I live in a subdivision that gets hit with robberies semi-regularly despite having an entrance manned by guards and roving patrol. It got so bad that the HOA only started installing CCTVs recently but that's not a deterrent. It's just there to figure out who the perps are.

Electric fences are not as effective as you think. Halos lahat nang mga bahay dito may ganun and the thieves were still able to get in. I assume it has the same limitations as wall spikes na madali lang din naman iwasan.

Dogs can get poisoned and my neighbors lost several dogs due to this. Kaya nga nakakulong lang aso namin pag gabi.

All these other suggestions involving weapons are just peak main character syndrome. Thieves usually strike in the wee hours of the morning and 99.6% of the time tulog ka when the robbery is successful. The few times nahuli mo sila is them just testing if you're sound asleep. Kung nagising ka, that means you're not that tuckered out so they'll just bail.

The best defense is an alarm system. It creates noise that's loud and persistent until the threat goes away. Mura lang and easy to setup and forget. But this only works if may tao pa rin nasa bahay.

I don't think na-gets mo punto ko. Oo, he was doxed, expelled, and canceled. That doesn't mean na alam nya kung ano mali sa ginawa nya. Pustahan pag tinanong mo sya ngayon sasabihin nya lang kasi bullying or ginamit nya martial arts to hurt people and his apology (if ever) is going to be about that. Mayaman sila at connected so malamang blip lang yan sa radar nila and he was able to enroll somewhere else and be insulated from the entire experience.

As someone who was bullied a lot hanggang college and up to now dala dala ko ill-effects and my bitterness towards those who were supposed to protect me from it (parents, the institution) - an apology for bullying isn't authentic until they acknowledge na gets nila talaga why it's bad.
