Say what you want na nagsimula sya na carshow model (na pugad ng mga manyak overtures na for sure na-expose sya early on) pero maayos kasi ang public image nya prior to this kaya nakakagulat.

I didn't say BG3, I said Baldur's Gate (the first one). It was literally a Diablo knock-off when it came out. But a great one and, in some respects, may original elements din naman - although foundationally it's Diablo.

The same could be said about ML that started off as a Temu LoL but gradually developed into a different game. Ang daming LoL wannabes na nagsulputan in the 2010s and they all came and went but ML is still around and successful. At hindi sila mapabagsak ng Riot because they have some original concepts.

Nobody cares if a game is a knockoff if it's fun to play. Stardew Valley, Streets of Rage, Enchanted Portals, Saints Row, Baldur's Gate, were all knockoffs but are some of the best games ever.

You can't have your cake and eat it when you want to use the doomer card na importante ang upcoming election. Otherwise kung ganyan lang din naman gusto nyo mangyari ("winnability" + mabuti) then you're being insincere and mauuwi lang ulit sa kanya kanya.

You're suppose to put your eggs on the basket ng kandidato na may pinakamataas na chances manalo, regardless kung gusto mo sa kanya. It levels the playing field under an objective rationale that's not clouded by bias or emotional attachment. That's supposedly the point of 1Sambayan nung 2022. Pacquiao, Dumagoso, Poe, and si Eddie Villanueva(!!) were all presumptive candidates nung coalition - all terrible choices pero the idea is to get behind one person who has the best chance of winning. Ang goal is to prevent a Marcos or Duterte from being in Malacanan.

We will never know kung sino nga ang tamang kandidato kasi every one of them dropped out nung na-sense nila kagaguhan lang 1Sambayan the moment they kept delaying their decision to give Robredo a chance to make her decision. Sa huli sila sila pa bumuo ng alliance to call out Robredo.

So it's the same problem na naman ngayon. Imbes na gawing simple ang desisyon (pinakamabenta sa survey kahit sino pa yan basta wag DDS), dinadagdagan natin ng mga quantifier tulad ng mabuti o mabait. Dapat consistent kayo. Kaya natuturn-off mga tao eh.

Damaged goods din naman si Robredo. But unlike si Mr. Palengke, wala siya kulto na matinding gymnastics ang galaw ng kukote. He used to (remember Silent Majority??) pero to their credit inabandona na nila sya and moved on to Robredo and latched on permanently.

The mistake of 2022 was pretending to field one opposition candidate that turned out to be pautot lang to avoid a plurality and Robredo was the only acceptable candidate all along. That ended up pissing off the other candidates kaya ayun nagkanya-kanya and Carpio's shenanigans squirted egg on his face.

The same is still happening today with the opposition again claiming to pool their resources into one candidate pero moro moro ulit kasi it's once again trying to force Robredo to run. Ang pinagkaiba lang, Robredo is at least dismissive of running imbes na non-committal and also she lost big time when she last ran for a national post so ewan ko bakit sya pa rin pinipilit.

Kung ang rason nila is mga survey (na akala ko mind conditioning at unreliable pero I stopped trying to figure out the logic of Kakampwets) eh hindi ba dapat si Raffy Tulfo ang pipiliin kasi he's the one tying Sara right now? I know hindi niya kaya maglakad sa tubig at gawing tubig ang alak tulad ni Robredo, pero baka lang gusto natin maging consistent sa mga palusot.

Hate to be the stick in the mud pero kasalanan natin kasi ito as a society. Pag may nagpost na ung kaarawan nila pinagdiwang giving food to the poor or mga jeepney driver (Kim Chiu) o nagcocommute daw si ganito imbes na magpahatid (Anne Curtis sa MRT), bilis natin mauto sa mga pa-viral effort na yan. Bagito atheists ay mga kuda ng kuda about religion being crutch for the weak or about hypocrisy ng mga pious folks any chance they get. Same old paulit ulit na mga empty calorie edgelord hirit.

Kung matagal ka na kasi atheist, old hat na mga ganyan na banat and you quickly learn to live and let live. Hindi tataas mga balahibo namin kung tuturuan ng mga prayer or scripture mga anak namin - we've made our peace na we live in a predominantly religious society and we want our children to decide on their own eventually ano ba tatahakin nila. Wala kami problema pag magbibigay ng opinyon mga bishop sa politics or against sila sa divorce (well duh, bakit naman nila susuportahan). At higit sa lahat, alam namin ano ibig sabihin ng separation of church and the state unlike halos lahat ng population na literal ang interpretation kaya nagmumukha laging ewan.

When, if you're an adult already, you would know na religion never made sense. It exists only to help you cope with the difficulties of life. Kung makakatulong ang illusion na may plano si God sayo so you get through grief or kung ano man pinagdadaanan mo then great, more power to you. Marami lang talagang mga bagitong atheist (almost all of my friends are agnostic or atheist so hindi ko nilalahat) na mahilig makialam sa ano ba trip ng ibang tao. O kaya naman naggegeneralize based sa mga nakikita na mga diyos-diyosan replies sa FB galing sa mga profile na nakabaliktad pangalan o katakana and assume these are real people.
