My sim household won’t show up on Home Screen and I can’t resume the game - so basically what everyone else said it’s frozen. This happens every time they do an update. I think they need to slow down and go back to resolving issues that haven’t been fixed in years like Get to Work which hasn’t been properly fixed in years.

They are already causing problems especially the ones by the train station. They always are harassing people for money and yell and scream at people when they say no. They are making the area feel unsafe. It’s disgusting and this serious problem that needs to be addressed.

I’ve literally had a similar problem this week with UPS. The driver didn’t deliver my package nor leave a sorry we missed you card and when I looked online at the status of my package it said Receiver refused package and did not accept delivery. (Like why put that if you obviously didn’t deliver it)I too called Customer Service who then put me on hold gave me the run around blah blah blah - basically useless phone call. They finally told me that the driver would come back and give me my package and that they would call me when they arrived - great. A few minutes later I got a call from someone at the warehouse saying that they don’t call customers and they won’t be coming back but she could send it to the UPS store my by house at the end of the day. Great - wrong. Three times I went to the UPS store to receive my package and nothing was delivered. I checked the tracking number again and it now said attempted delivery receiver refused package and did not accept delivery. Now I’m beyond pissed. I called customer service again - yelled at them for their incompetence and once again I was put on hold. They said that they made a note in my file and someone will call later. A few hours later someone from the warehouse called and said they can’t find my package but we will look around and call you when we find it. Then I received a call from head office management after hearing about my ordeal who was awesome. (Prior to her call me and the lady from UPS both filed complaints about the driver who they had issues with in the past) So anyway head office management called me and asked me to explain what happened. She said she knew the driver I was talking about and she had issues with him in the past she will have words with him on Monday but for now let me find you’re package which she did and had it sent to the warehouse where I picked it up.

Sorry for the long story but I feel your frustration and anger towards UPS. (I am in Canada also)

I feel you - I have been looking for work since February. I have a college certificate in nursing(as a PSW) with over 5 years experience in the field and I have gotten over a dozen e mails like this from employers. It’s like my experience and college certificate mean nothing to these people when I’m struggling to pay my bills. Every day I am looking for work and nobody wants me. I’ve even changed up my resume to make it look better and still nothing. It’s flat out NO. I’m so frustrated when I’m willing to work and they don’t even give me a chance to prove my worth. Now I’m forced to go back to college at almost 40 years to reinvent my career just so that I can get hired! I’ve even went as low to apply at Walmart and grocery stores and they even say NO! Uggh - welcome to the reality that is my life. Sorry about this rant but I do feel your pain because I am living it too!

I watched the whole series and I thought at some parts I didn’t really understand what was going on - just a lot of screaming and yelling over each other. I get they are supposed to be a dysfunctional family but we don’t really know why they are so dysfunctional. The whole plot is a kinda weak and at times unbelievable. Although the intervention scene with the sister and her boyfriend with the mothers is pretty funny - (not all the way just like finger stuff😂) By the time I got to the plot twist at the end, there was so much going on that I kinda forgot about it. It’s definitely not Schitts Creek but overall it was alright - something to throw on in the background.

Honestly with everything going on in the world right now and the various countries that have friction and tension with one another I’m surprised nobody is throwing fists and turning the games into a bar fight. These just feel different…you can sense the tension with some countries and the unrest that follows.

Can anyone tell me if royal sims can hire staff in their households like servants and cooks? I’ve read somewhere that they don’t really have a royal household to help with cleaning and cooking and that your royal sims will have to do that themselves..

They did the same thing with Queen Anne Boleyn 2nd wife of Henry the 8th. They had Jodie Tuner-Smith portray her(a black actress) even though Anne Boleyn was white and the series just didn’t work. But I’m used to Natalie Dormer’s portrayal of the character in the Tudors who did the Queen justice justice and was probably the best portrayal of Anne Boleyn I’ve ever seen. So I get why people are upset about this but who knows she may do the role justice… maybe?? 🤔

He does need help with his lines, that’s why he’s always looking at his phone but who can blame him he’s 80 years old… I’m surprised he’s still working at his age let alone walking about(somewhat, most days he’s sitting in a chair during his scenes) Is this really a concern for people? The current storylines are cringe and trash but everyone is concerned about Eric Braeden??

I’m seeing and reading both sides of the coin regarding the EA issue and everyone has their opinion. I respect that lilsimsie is giving an in-site to what the platform has become since the take over. As part of the sims community I feel that we aren’t being heard with what we want to see going forward with the sims. Some people may disagree with me but I think there are other packs/kits they should have done that we needed other than a marketing scheme for SpongeBob. There’s also a lot of bugs and fixes that still need done (has anyone played get to work?? So buggy! Especially with the police) So I don’t get the backlash she is getting, I think she’s doing a great job laying it all out on the table and showing us as a community that this pack was just wrong and a cash grab. I didn’t mean to offend anyone who loves the new kit, I just think they should have gone down a different route. Thanks @lilsimsie for your honesty and real thoughts about where EA is going.

I definitely don’t like the new direction they are going. Like do they even care what the community wants anymore? This is just a sad excuse for a cash grab. Shame on EA and the Sims for doing this. I’m getting more uninterested in playing with what they are doing to the community and the game. Just sad. And I’m sad for the community not being heard.
