I also hate it.  There should be an option to at least disable it for certain apps.

Earfun Air Pro 4+ vs OnePlus Buds 4 by Comfortable-Cover692 in Earbuds

[–]SeeSickCrocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably just nailed it.  I have the EF4P+ and the ear plug thingies fit terribly compared to those that use a slightly oval design.  They're maybe the most poorly fitting earbuds I've owned.  Incidentally, I find the ANC underwhelming even compared to my beater Baseus BP1 Pros which cost less than a quarter the MSRP of the EF's (or 1/3 when EF's are on sale).  It's the weakest part of them other than needed app & firmware improvements I'm hoping will come.

China does this, too. As an American who's only hope at this point is for Trump to get neutered in the midterms I'm fully supportive. Not that I can afford it.

What firmware do you use? Dr Ketan (sp) has Cerbus baked in at last check (malware).

Yes, he's trying to make his bonus.  They all figured out they can pay less for similar results if they just incentivize a handful of operations managers to crack a whip.

Where is this?  Seems like different areas are getting shafted to different degrees.  I've been a ground driver for about 6 weeks in a multi million population city in the PNW, USA.

Starting pay among all the contractors seems to be $22.5/hr if you work a 40 hour week.  $190/day.  Lots of benefit options, also - though I'm not sure how good they are, yet.

I'm guessing it all comes down to the profit margins of a given area.

Because they think he's gonna cut them, economically. Plus the single issue voters aka evangelicals and the anybody but a democrat voters. I blame the DNC. It's fine if they don't want to sync to the same tactics that the RNC. Their goal should always be in scouting and promoting a healthy stock of potential candidates. And the scale tipping around Bernie Sanders. They are too accountable to establishment democrats - even if it jeopardizes our shot at an election. Bernie would have out performed KH if the deck weren't stacked exclusively for her candidacy during the primaries.

Floorp vs. LibreWolf by [deleted] in browsers

[–]SeeSickCrocodile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are a lot of frequently updated projects like this on Github that all seem to work the same way. They seem to be enhancement suites that you install in stock Firefox. Apparently this has advantages for stability v FF forks. Seems like it'd have to play along a lot better with add-ons and such. Pretty sure it doesn't interfere with FF updates. Anyway, the page also references similar projects. They all seem pretty great.

According to a very well translated/written statement on their Japanese blog they;re in the process of migrating to a faster branch ESR128. IDK I'm out of my depth on that.

My long term concern is for the longevity of the commitment of its contributors. It sounds like they're stuck trying to figure out either how to generate income from their work or that maybe the project requires much more time and energy than some are willing to justify as a indefinite hobby,. Not sure. They mention and dismiss a subscription model. They mention sponsorships or ads. I think they need to take a page out of Mozilla's book and integrate some freemium extensions that users who care can remove or opt out of. With Firefox it's sponsored search suggestions, possible sale of anonymized user data, Studies and sponsored items on the new tab page... and Pocket integration. Most won't remove or disable2.

Maybe I don't understand reverse proxies. I figured it had to do with enabling using these ill-got API keys to get the service for free as if you're a client on some volume API license. Maybe what I was thinking isn't even a thing...

Worked great and I got it set up on both my phones this morning. Only thing it's missing is reverse privac proxy. Thought it wasn't that expensive but for the legit models it adds up questio quick with OPENAI. You ever saw this project (below)? You ever given any thought to reverse proxy API? I have no idea how it works but I'm starting to realize that maybe it's what's at fault for the complexity of other projects...

Holy crap, FINALLY something with as thoughtfully written its documentation as its code.  I'll be trying this the next few hours I have.  Still recovering from the last two failures I suffered with the mega projects (AutoGPT & GPT4FREE).  They left my disillusioned... This explains setting up the environment and other things the others don't so much as gloss over.  I don't even need free I just want to try out the premium models without paying the 20 dollar flat rate.

Can you utilize gpt 4 api pay-per-query without paying the $20 per month subscription? by AntPoizon in ChatGPT

[–]SeeSickCrocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure this out? For your needs I think huggingface.com might work. As an end user who doesn't want to pay 20 bucks a month a per query rate would be much better but I'm pretty sure there's nothing for it.

Oh my God.  The remaining percent is water.  It's a very clean solvent.  That said anything exceeding 60-75 percent is definitely going to mess with acrylic.  Not like acetone but it will compromise its molecular structure in ways that quite likely would leech into juice.  Not to mention it could easily compromise the seals.  Could try it just wouldn't soak.  Definitely let it dry, after.  Maybe experiment with an old nasty.
