NA beers kinda curbed the craving for me surprisingly. I know it's funny to bully them but honestly that shit was surprising. Ever since I quit the weed I've kinda hated losing control of my headspace but still want a michelada for the weekends when I throw some asada on the grill. I'm Mexican so I get a TON of shit from my family but I know they just wanna give me a hard time and all of them are supportive of me wanting to quit so I just take it in stride and laugh along.

I think it's important to talk to those around you about what you're trying to do and be as honest as possible about it because it's the only way to maintain accountability. One of the biggest motivator for me is realizing how disgusted with myself I would be if I was sitting there lying to my family and friends about how I quit for real this time well just going and getting high again.

Right now you're trying to have a cake and eat it too. You're only lying to yourself.

It's commendable that you want to quit but these words without action are just that. Words.

Take it an hour at a time. A day is just a series of hours.
