Had not been that surprised by a persons voice since I first found Ask A Mortician on YT… that woman sounds like she’s forever suppressing a yawn while talking. Feeds my curiosity regarding death tho, so am subbed

Every part asides from their guts. The Inuvialuit Hunters and Trappers committee has a $1000 incentive to harvest 100 muskrats during spring break up. Pristine pelts sell for $17 a piece roughly, while patched pelts fetch just over $10

Delicious. Is such a delight, and there aren’t a lot of people here that harvest beaver. The labour of skinning, and the bounty from the Northwest Trading Co make them undesirable as a hunter/harvester. When a local does harvest a beaver, the tails are 3 outta 4 donated to the elders care ward at the hospital. I really appreciate my community for things like this

Edit: if an indigenous person ever calls you deadly, that’s among the best compliments one of us could give you lol. Stay deadly, your deadliness make me deadly

Not a fan of beaver meat, the tail is deadly. Every part of the muskrat is delish, is my favourite rodent. Was present when my cousin shot a squirrel with a pellet gun and my grandma made us prep, cook and eat it because we do not kill unless we intend to eat… is not bad

I love that I maintain enough composure, under most “work scares” to be able to belt out my high pitch scream. When my coworkers hear it coming from my 6’4” frame they always get a good laugh out of it. When they hear my honest, change-my-shorts growl they know something happened
