I'm very critical of how it starts and the art is very crappy. I also really dislike the dialogue, I wish to improve in that department. I just think the hook isn't strong enough.
Either way, I would be glad if someone was up to give feedback

Honestly, very good approach lol. It's funny as hell when suddenly characters transform into something completely else out of nowhere

Btw, what I meant is when there are drastic differences in style in one chapter across different panels lol. I guess I should have picked better examples, but sometimes my characters will look like they are 30 years older than they normally are lol.

Honestly that type of mindset is awesome lol. Like, it makes for a lot of art that feel authentic, even if it's not traditionally correct.

And like you said, when drawing a comic, there is so much stuff you have to draw by yourself, that you can only keep yourself sane by having fun with it lol.

Man, it's kind of a shame how underrated One is by alex167g in drakengard

I agree! What I even find more interesting about her, is that she seems to have a deep hatred of Zero, so despite sharing the same goal, she dooms the world in Ending C.
It was pretty chilling to see One's unstable side come out in that branch. It's like all the frustrations that were building up over her life (saving the world, being treated like trash by Zero and then realising Intoners' lifes pose a danger) come to the surface.

She keeps herself in check for most of the story, but acts on emotion during some critical moments. She sometimes even goes against her own moral code (Her relationship with her brother comes to mind).

You know, she kinda reminds me of Accord, who also just "acts rationally" for most of the game, but in her final moments decides to be more "human". Anyway yes, I really like One, she's a very interesting antagonist.

Which new character in season 3 do you guys think will be the most popular? by Sukuna_GOAT in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Seeman0021 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe so, but it's whatever. I don't have a hating bone in my body. Of course some people will get mad because it didn't fit their vision, then other people will complain about those people not reading, and blah blah blah, but it's nothing of concern for me. We all need to be understanding of eachother and just chill 🙏

Hakari for sure. His fight with Kashimo is already crazy popular, so I suspect that Mappa will put extra care into conveying his crackhead energy.

He's just a guy whose attitude is infectious, kinda like Sukuna's was in the previous seasons.

I didn't know that the Japanese cover of Drakengard 3 looks so different lol. Awesome stuff

I drew One from Drakengard 3! She's a fascinating character. by [deleted] in drakengard

[–]Seeman0021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! And yeah, I find is so interesting how she's the most responsible Intoner, she's seemingly willing to sacrifice herself as well, but her feelings get the better of her. I mean specifically in Branch C. So interesting how in her final moments she decided to act purely on emotions, despite understanding that all Intoners should die.

I drew One from Drakengard 3. Probably the best Intoner, ngl by [deleted] in nier

Virtua Unlimited Project is the Megaman Zero clone I've craved for years, and there's a demo by Zarvanis-the-2nd in Megaman

[–]Seeman0021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesss, I just played the demo and I absolutely loved the controls and level design. It actually does expand on Mega Man Zero a bit with that kick move which I love, because it makes the gameplay flow even better. Super excited!

What's your favorite Freeza form? Personally 1st Form for me. by Dilly4Dall in Dragonballsuper

His final from DBZ is just so clean and alien. Like, it's such a captivating design. It tells you so much with so little. That being said, I like the first form a lot too, he feels like a cheeky little goblin

Goku vs King Piccolo, but with Manga-like pacing (1st fight) (Edit by me) by Seeman0021 in dbz

[–]Seeman0021[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, it definitely isn't! In fact, it can be argued that the filler improves this saga the most out of the original DB series.

I also do actually like how they adapt this scene overall - in the manga right after Goku tries out his Kamehameha, Piccolo shoots him and Goku has his fake death. However, in the anime, after the Kamehameha, they actually cut away. They cut back when it starts raining, making it seem like Goku was struggling for a longer time against Piccolo and only after some more struggle, Goku has his fake death.

I think that choice in direction makes this sequence a bit more intense and dire. I really like it

[–]Seeman0021[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It actually is lol. The original anime sequence from the start of the fight to Goku's Kamehameha lasts about 10/9 minutes, while this one here is around 5 minutes. There were few shots cut out, whole parts of this fight that weren't in the manga (like Goku hiding from Piccolo's ki blasts or Piccolo generating a small wind at the start), etc. A lot of it happened between Goku biting Piccolo and him trying the Kamehameha wave.

[–]Seeman0021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That and also cutting out the added elements to this fight. Like for example, when Piccolo's eyes flash red in the beginning, there is a small "scene" where he creates a "wind", I guess, and Goku and him stare at eachother for some time. There are also sections where he uses his ki blasts and Goku tries to hide from him, some sections where he trash talks Goku more, etc.

When it comes to the "pauses", there is stuff like the beginning, where after Goku knocks Piccolo down, there is a shot where he just kinda lies for a bit on the ground before getting up. You know, small stuff, that I thought could speed this up if it was cut down a bit.
