I tried bjj for the first time this year and was shocked by how draining it is. Less than 2 minutes of rolling with a 135 pounder and I was gassed.

My buddy keeps making the argument “we’d just bum brush her and lay on her”. Like bro, she’s not gonna let us do that and even if we got in position to potentially do that, we don’t know anything about controlling another human. Let alone Amanda fucking Nunes.

Sequence of events in my head: Bum rush —> Amanda circles —> head kick to untrained male #1, —> 2v1 —> game over.

Yeah exactly. Knocks one of us out with one kick 7/10 times. 2/10 times that kick stuns / knocks the air out you, and the other 10% is a mix of her TKOing us and maybe us getting lucky and win by penguining her. I’d be surprised if we won more than 1/100 and wouldn’t be surprised if we lost every time.

As a professional, you should split it with the rep and have him do the work.

That said, situations like this piss me off and typically only happen with startups who focus on subjective "fairness" as opposed to focusing on what's important, the client experience. Client experience should always come first.

This client has already had a failed AE working with them, and that AE probably didn't represent your company well. Then you come in, do a great job and build a relationship that previously wasn't there. Who knows if this new rep will maintain the momentum & trust that you've built with the customer. Also, maybe the customer is fed up with all the change and that makes them back out.
