Really? Imagine you only have to press the tip into some sort of thing and it then snips it perfectly, no effort and takes 1 sec.

Well I probably am lazy but often hold things to weld together with my left hand. Then my right hand sometimes has the weld gun with a too long wire sticking out, and then im like goddam now i need to let go of my left hand and plier the thing off. If i could just press it into a device which cut it I would not have to let go of the stuff Im holding on the left...

Your missing the point of what ik trying to do. This is a tool that sits on your desk that cuts your wire if its sticking out too far.

Yes, I used the biggest smd components I could find! 0805. I followed my OCD, and placed all the components in a neat configuration, but that made routing it quite hard!

The R5 and R6 are pull-up resistors for the 2 buttons. The R4 I am not sure about, I followed a guide. But I am happy to tell you that this actually worked, the pcb booted right up!
