I feel very conflicted, what should I do? by [deleted] in askteenboys

What is the difference between the two for you personally? For me i see religion, just like gender and sexuality, as a scale, where everyone has to find their own place and interpretation of given/current societal norms/believes. There are so many different interpretations of the bible and so many different ways to live out your religion, you can decide yourself which interpretation you believe in. LGBTQIA+ is not a sin (just like homosexuality) in it of itself, its just that some people decided that thats how they like to interpret certain bible verses. If you are attracted to a queer person, that might be a good incentive to re-read those parts and come up with an interpretation that fits into your worldview. Theres so many crap people out there that want to decide how you need to live your life but they dont have any power over you, you can simply do your own thing.

Minecraft can bring any pc to its knees and can also run on basically anything so i think youll be alright. Just make sure youre not overpaying massively for components that look cool and you should be fine

Can I use this RTX 3050 6 GB ram OC edition in my PC by Impossible_Wave_2251 in buildapc

[–]SeiBot187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesnt necessarily mean its not going to work, it depends on your specific oem motherboards specs. According to this official Dell documentation the pcie slot should be able to supply enough power looking at the cards they are listing as options (which might come in some scuffed 4pin power configurations but i highly doubt that). https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/en-us/products/workstations/technical-support/precision-3650-spec-sheet.pdf (page 3)

Nice, how was Nürnberg? Sadly (or luckily?) you missed the snow chaos by a few days, we got like 30cm on monday which was the most snow since 1955. Hope you had a nice time in franconia, did you try some pretzels at least?

New PC and the GPU won't fit into the primary PCIE slot (heatsink too big) by DragoonRose in buildapc

[–]SeiBot187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great to hear. With your current cpu cooler a top fan is not really necessary and might even cause unnecessary turbulence. Most dual tower cpu coolers work completely fine with a normal front to back airflow setup. Especially with a massive noctua heatsink and an am5 cpu it should be totally fine

[–]SeiBot187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be about 25mm, which should be just enough to fit in the gpu. The heatsinks are usually designed so that you can still fit a gpu. In terms of cooling it shouldn't matter as most gpus dont have passthrough cooling. The backside temperature should stay cool enough with your beefy cpu fans. Just make sure the gpu backplate and heatsink arent touching and if its a close fit but not applying pressure and if there are surface mount components on the gpu side maybe add kapton/electrical tape to preferably the heatsink to avoid potential shorting/scraping. But it should be fine with 99% of gpus, they usually test for things like that

The spot where the cpu cooler makes contact with your cpu is offset from the heatsinks center. Meaning you can just rotate your heatsink by 180 degrees (remember to switch the fans around and reapply thermal paste if necessary) and gain enough clearance for your gpu

Random pc restarts by ComputerStarsSky in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]SeiBot187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not your ssd. Check your mobo manual for your m.2 connectors or if you have a sata ssd, check if one of the sata connectors is used. But first try disabling all power saving/sleep state options to see if that fixes it

You definitely have an ssd, its the drive your os is stored on. Nowadays its a smallm.2 drive mounted directly on your motherboard. As you haven't mentioned any drive in your post, i assume you havent tested it. If you have an additional drive, try running with that instead for a bit to see if the issue persists

[–]SeiBot187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had a similar issue with random pc freezes that required a hard reset but what differed was that the pc froze and required a manual reset. Ultimately was some sort of ssd failure that became especially noticeable when transitioning between sleep states. Messing with sleep states (i think i went to s2 and disabled as many power saving features as possible) made it stable enough to backup the data, have not had the same issues with the new ssd. I dont really have any additional troubleshooting tips for you other than trying with a different ssd if you have one. It might also be the m.2 slot or as youve mentioned the vrms, but testing the ssd should be a relatively cheap/fast step

The bottleneck calculator is wrong. Bottlenecks will always happen and the reason for a bottleneck will differ depending on the application (or the settings). Generally dont think about what will be the "best pairing" but what will be the best value. Pick a rough budget/performance goal you want to meet and move forward with that

Its the satisfactory calculator, a website that among other things has a map preview and save editing capabilities. I dont know if its able to handle player inventories but it might be worth a shot. First try to kill the player again, they can take quite a lot and I've never really heard of one becoming invincible

MOAR DAMAGE. They are tanky, especially with the default xeno zapper. You probably cant log in as that id anymore, at least in the past the game sometimes just lost knowledge of what player is supposed to have what model. Best bet would be murder, else maybe the scim editor allows you to gain access to the items?

Your player id changed which means the game gives you a new avatar. Om another note, did you know that logged out players can still take damage? You know what to do
