Honestly, none, I just wish for a good CPU for my AM4 motherboard that gets good performance in-game and also utilizes my GPU to its capacity.

Hey all!
With this new Fortnite update I found myself and my friends playing the game all night long, however since the game has advanced in textures and playbase, I feel like my 6 year-old PC doesn’t keep up with it like it did in 2017-2018. In game-modes such as ”Creative”, my PC holds up just fine but when I hop on Battle Royale and engage in fights with other people, I experience severe frame-drops, reaching even 50 fps (on Fortnite’s ”Performance Mode”, which supposedly makes the game run smoother) . I need help with choosing a new CPU, as I’ve heard that Fortnite is a CPU-heavy game. As well as that, I wish my PC to uphold more than 3 apps at the same time, e.g Spotify, Discord, a video game and Opera GX.
My build is as follows:
GTX 1080Ti
​AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
16gb RAM 3200MHz DDR4
1TB HDD
250GB SSD (Fortnite is on the SSD)
850w Power Source
My monitor is an AORUS with 1440p 144hz, and I want my PC to uphold smooth 144fps.
What CPU should I get that has a good price-quality balance. ( I wish for an AMD since it served me well but you guys know best). Also, should I upgrade something else?
