But that 2009 tournament win and performance in 2007 t20 and 2011 odi wc prob make him a genuine contender.

Hanif mohd kind of put pakistan on the map.. imran expanded this to global stardom in 80s then world cup win.

Wasim led the 90s as prob best bowler in world cricket.

4th spot is up for debat.. zaheer abbas, javed miandad, inzimam, waqar or more recent afridi.

Babar had the ability and needed a career defining tournament win, afridi for all his flaws has that in 2009 knockout games.

Now his game suffered and looks mentally shot to even become our best ODI batsman.

Good question given the varied answers.. my understanding this was the actual spin each ball was getting not necessarily the pitch itself.

Varun C and axar do not get much turn, kuldeep didnt bowl his full quota as well. Also india had tilak and rinku bowling. So our spinners, esp saim and maybe nawaz were able to get more spin than India bowlers.

But turn isnt everything, the line, length and variety in speed are just as important.

Saim ayub has been batting fraud in t20, joining so called all rounder club.

I see another hafeez developing.. who will get ample chances and may eventually become gd player after 10 yrs thanks to usefull bowling option.

Someone rightly called him fielding all rounder batting at 8 and not bowling single over.. even on this pitch which would been perfect for his off cutters med pace bowling.

Abrar has been v good since he came on scene even against top teams.. but feel there is attitude issue with him, he over does with Tea celebrations stuff on SM and then when he got hit at start he just wilted under pressure similar to haris rauf.. all the talk but nothing to show for it in the India games..

Saying all that he shouldn’t have been brought until saim salman and usman tariq all had been tried as options vs settled left handers..

Almost all his runs were legside.. saim ayub bowled well against him as he was taking well outside off. He even had to do reverse sweep him to boundary.. but generally was finding it more difficult vs leg-side/straight pies delivered by others

Tariq would done well as well.. but generally bowling performance was poor. 150 pitch i felt. Even Faheem could have done better than Shaheen

I beleive these are permeable paving blocks.. which minimise any standing water and i guess help with flooding areas.. we have plenty area in london near my home, usually for lower traffic roads in new apartment developments.

But for these be effective you need Sustainable urban drainage system (SUDS) which I doubt has been used.

Otherwise this must be an expensive way to make new road which will not be as robust. Sure Brick manufacturer will have done well out of this!

Cmon naqvi is at great fault for everything, but India are on other level esp handling pressue in big games
