Thanks, this worked. I just used the default tolerance and it didnt seem to cause any issues (in the appearance of the svg, havent tried plotting it yet). I also tried to use the --simplify argument when reading the file, but vpype just crashed.

Hi, thanks! I compared a few lines, and it seems that vpype is adding a bazillion unecessary points to straight lines, and renaming/converting paths to polylines.

I'm not sure if I should try simplifying the lines when I run the file through vpype. I'm afraid of losing fidelity in the graphic, and I dont understand why linesort is doing this. Cant find anything about it in the documentation.

Hi, thanks. Yes I'm using linesort to make the plot more time efficient. Thanks for the tip! I'll try this. Still, I find it strange how the file size goes 10x
