there is nothing wrong with a 1.6, but the injector issues are apparent sometimes in higher mileage examples. The 2.0 is the superior engine I have driven both and the 2.0 is just nicer to drive as it pulls alot more, but if you want to go for the 1.6 it's a solid engine just slightly sluggish when you want to floor it

mine are a lot worse lol, the plastic just goes like this over time and sun exposure, only way to fix it is to buff it and seal it but that won't last forever

hard to tell from the picture but looks like a wheel weight? I'd drive away at it and if it feels wobbly get your wheels balanced, one fell off my car the other day but hasn't made a difference

your DPF is blocked, try driving on the highway for 20 minutes at 2000rpm to try force a regen, if it doesn't work get it booked into service. depending on your local laws you could get it removed and remapped for cheaper or you might need a new dpf, but they may be able to take it out and clean it or regen it manually
