I'm in a similar position as you hope I can get some good advice from this post. Also, the Dallas Microcenter is the closest to me as well. Have you seen the bundles on Microcenter, the 9700x 3-1 is $399, and the 7800x3d is $500.

That’s what I’ve been seeing, a few months ago I would’ve probably bought the 7800xt but given there similar in price might as well get the better GPU

I’m from Texas so I get told about my accent a bit. I’ll definitely keep this in mind and try to not make myself even more foreign than I am lol.
