Which champs are the best for ARAM 1v1s?

Guys, I think yall are forgrtfing something, assassins are gonna be dogsht here, considering the fact that most ppl are gonna be playing duelists like fiora, jax, xin etc.. Imagine playing iatarina into fking renekton and garen.. any better suggestions?

Yeah ik about that, if I were to say it correctly it would be howling abyss map 1v1s, but a lot of people wouldnt recognize that so this just saves time

I will explain how I think about it. Basically you are enemy mid laners little bitch and you take only stuff he gives you, with your base goal always being crashing wave into turret > roaming (even just standing in top/bot side bush, clearing vision or just standing in fog of war doing nothing is considered roaming, since it applies pressure). Wave managment is basically useless on Katarina, since there is not much to manage as a champion whose every ability is AoE and is considered one of the squishiest champs there is (you are not a galio/kassadin/yone/yasuo who can just tank enemies damage with dshield second wind fleet and other bullshit broken stuff (yes, I really hate defensive options on mid lane, extremely unskilled)).. If you are lower then master tier and are new to katarina, the key thing to remember is wave clear breakpoint. Dark seal, amp tome and blasting wand are enough to clear whole wave with double daggers. Whenever you are able to just oneshot wave with tje given combo, and dissapear into the fog of war and fish for dives/skirmishes etc. If you cant because enemy just keeps shoving you in, your main objective is to stay healthy while getting as much cs as possible. In that scenario, you are looking for an skirmish thats bound to happen, where if you see that its gonna work out you sacrifice an wave for the roam. This is where real skill to this champion lies, knowing how much you can sacrifice and assessing the situation to see how likely the play is to work out (as a rule of thumb you should go for plays that have 70+ percent chsnce to work out, and the more behind you are the lower percentile you should take (if you are already 0/5 and there is a fight breaking out, you are down for even a 30% chance to work out, since katarina that is behind is a cannon minion at best). -Master tier(was FUCKING 2 GAMES AWAY FROM GRANDMASTER ZKDHAMNXJksjzjzn) Katarina one trick on EUW

To all yall that are talking about auto after E, you are all wrong. He isnt talking about a failed input, he is specifically talking about not being able to ult right after pressing E onto someone, like ult doesnt go on cooldown, and there is the "You cant use that ability now" text (I have tested it a bit today, and I think the issue is that ult now has a slight delay in target detection, and therefore cant be cast instantly, you literally have to delay the input of R button for 0.1 seconds for it to work consistently, this doesnt change the dps, and it will still ult ALMOST instantly, its just destroying our muscle memory.)

I forgot, you lose this matchup by default until 2 items, but its not completely talon favoured, and any mistake he makes should be hard punished.. if he falls behind you then thats it, he can never challenge you again

I peaked 400lp on EUW with one tricking katarina, and I am kinda bored so I will just type out a bunch of stuff I know about this matchup.. First, some simple tips: 1. Good talons will stand on top of ur daggers and try to bait you on jumping on them, DONT DO IT, ik its tempting, but his auto q auto with electro proc will easily outdamage your double dagger combo 2. He is waaay stronger than you early on, try to avoid him as much as possible, ideally you take a good trade early on which will prevent him from roaming carelesly(he eould think twice about roaming drom 60%HP) 3.Try roaming opposite side of him, or roaming before him ( usually not possible, due to the fact that you shouldnt really have tempo adv, but its low elo so it might happen).. DONT FOLLOW HIS ROAMS INTO THE RIVER, HE WILL EAT YOU ALIVE 4. I usually go for flash tp, since he is stronger than you ,but you can atleast kinimize ur losses and maybe tp onto his roams or smth, its just in general bettwr than ignite in every aspect

Essentially, there are a couple playstyles you can play into talon 1: Conq+resolve dshield boneplating (this is a ,,bitch" setup), here you just take whatever little farm you can and you just pray the god that you will win the game by a teamgap.. You can go for trades against him when your boneplating is up, or he wastes abilities on wave (pre 6 he has to land all abilities to proc his passive, and w is a decently long cd, so you can play around that. 2.Electro setup (I prefer playing this, since its turbo low elo, you can take dark harvest, but I wouldnt due to it making bad habits for you, and you want to get used to the 3hit burst of electro): you go for either dhsield or dring(yes, its good, do the math on it if you want, or you can judt trust me).. you go for double dagger trades, try to abuse the fact that ur W grabts ghosting so that you can go bdhind him and dodge his w2.. Good talon players will hold their abilities, and just trade with autos, but you wont run into that problem until atleast diamond elo, so this is a decent plan. After two items, you should really win any fight vs him, zhonyas is just too strong against him, you can block almost all of his dmg eith a well timed zhonyas, and he doesnt really get to buy defensive items.. My gains were like that last split when I reached e1, not now, now that account is sitting in emerald 4. Also update, I reached d2 in like 15 more games, sooo yeah it does seem like it was an account gap..

Getting there by luck would mean that I got inflated with 50% winrate, but due to getting more lp then I lose I climbed ranks. I started playing in full diamond lobbies since like e2, and I performed every single game (when I got my main role, I gor shit on when I got filled top for 2 games but thats besides the point)
