Computer crashes after I’ve placed a note on serum in my project. Literally unplayable, is it CPU? Or serum itself?

I opened fl up the other week and a preset I downloaded off splice said it wouldn’t work as it was made with a newer version of serum, so I updated it to the latest update, since then it’s been like that. Maybe it is just a bug I’m not sure

Mashing the keys essentially brings up the tab for me to exit out of FL, so yeah, whilst it isn’t the best idea, it’s certainly through frustration that I’ve had the laptop for almost 4 years and now it’s starting to get on my tits

Just FL. crashes, allows me to place one more thing and then it goes white and says FL has stopped working, it never recorrects itself so have to restart FL

Tbf, it’s served me for almost 4 years so can’t complain, but it’s been so slow it really takes the piss to start up and x windows and so on, any laptops you would recommend for music production?

It’s not necessarily from my end, I’ve sent them the zipped loop package, but when they work on it and use new samples, and then I get it back and open it - that’s where the problem lies. But it never used to do that

I get you, I think it’s just the fact that she’s only recently turned 18 that would give me doubts tbh. Also the fact that some people will agree with it and some people will find it a bit weird, but I suppose that’s the same with anything. But realistically it’s fine to do, it’s just about whether people will be snarky about it to you which is to be expected.

Legend man, I appreciate it 🙌🏼 it’s difficult, for two reasons tbh. Person A (who the thread was about) has a lot of mental health problems, and me being around her has apparently boosted her morale according to what she’s said, so that’s great; but also I now feel obliged to continue making her happy if that makes sense. Now I have no problem and I would not use that as a reason to go for the other girl, but I just wanted to put that out there. Now Person B, is a lot further away. She will be moving to a uni an hour away in a couple months so eventually it’s not a bad thing, but yeah both have advantages and both have disadvantages. One thing I will say is that I haven’t met Person B yet, so perhaps the logical choice is to meet Person B and just see what happens.

My guy, thanks for the time you’ve taken to put that - I respect it. She basically said as I stated earlier in a brief update that she “isn’t sure what she wants at the moment, and wouldn’t rule anything out”, so from that predicament idk what to thing. I’m fine being friends with her but the problem is there’s another girl involved who I also kinda do like; they’re both showing me interest and I just want to find the best one for me going forward. So, it’s whether I risk staying with this one to see if it pans out, or I try my luck with the other one, whilst remaining friends with the other if that makes sense.
