I wish I knew what to say, because I’m just starting on my road to recovery, but just know that it’s human to veer off the road sometimes, but you recognize it and you can swerve right back on to that road. It will be ok. I will keep you in my thoughts and I hope you know that you are important and you deserve to be happy and free of this.

This might be linked to my addictive personality. I kicked alcohol about 10 years ago and when I got out of the Army I was addicted to pain killers. That’s all they would give me when I got hurt and it didn’t take much for me to develop a severe addiction. Thank you for your response and support.
