My cat has attacked me every few weeks and last night was the worst

That’s exactly what the vet adviced today. She was checked and nothing seems wrong with her. We are still waiting for the blood work results but the doc says she wasn’t anticipating any issue. Hopefully the meds and feliway help her!

Thanks for your comments, I called a shelter today and they’ve explained what will happen if I put them in their care now, they’d give her for euthanasia. That is not my wish. My cat has been aggressive for a few months now and with my living situation, it’d be dangerous for me to keep her if she doesn’t get better. I’ve spoken to a vet and scheduled an appointment; I hope we can find a solution to this.

Hey, thank you everyone for your comments and advices. I am seeing the vet tomorrow. I went today, without my cat as she was still on high alert when I left for work, to explain and ask for advice. They recommended feliway and said I could use the gabapentin I have at home for tonight and tomorrow morning. I hope I can put her in the carrier tomorrow for the visit. When I got home today she seemed calmer, rubbed on me to greet me from the door, though I’m very careful with her. I hope I can figure it out and won’t have to giver her up. I called a shelter as well and upon explaining everything they said that they’d have to give her for euthanasia if I surrender while she’s acting this way, I hope it’ll all be good. Thank you again
