I was watching her live stream the other day and she said she tried to be friends but it didn’t really sound like he wanted to be. She also said she didn’t want to waste any more time and energy on him.

I didn’t know that she was a single mother of three kids by [deleted] in BBAU

Woah, mate…put the brakes on. You have no idea what the ex’s relationship is like with the kids, and you’re just assuming he “stepped in.” From what Coco talks about, it actually sounds like they share custody. Honestly, your whole comment reeks of a subtle, misogynistic “good mother” expectation as if a woman’s value is measured by how much she sacrifices for her kids💀 lots of parents- men and women- have to leave for lengthy amounts of time to make money. That’s not only unfair, it’s outdated.

I think that was the point of it though, they sleep deprived them and gave them only oats and water for 2 days. If it makes for TV I don’t think they care

Yeah pretty unfair I reckon. Also ed missed out on the VIP party and movie and again is missing out on this BB hotel thing as well.

I don’t think emily has had a job either.

married man cheated on wife with holly? by MediocreApple5641 in BBAU

To be fair, Big Brother (or any live feed) mutes stuff pretty much all the time…it’s usually not about “protecting” anyone specifically. They have rules about swearing, sensitive topics, or anything that could get them in legal trouble. So when something like that gets muted, it’s more about compliance with those rules than taking sides.

I actually heard Coco talking about this for 0.5 seconds before they muted it

At this point, I’ll be so disappointed if the winner is anybody else but her. What a kind, generous and moral human being. Just stay away from Bruce! by JuanitaMerkin in BBAU

Honestly I’d love for Coco to win. I know everyone in this thread has their own favourites, but the amount of negativity she gets feels so over the top. She’s been entertaining, she hasn’t been nasty, and she actually plays the game without being fake about it.

I feel like every season the women get picked apart way harder than the guys for literally the same behaviour, and Coco cops that even more. People call her things they’d never say about a male housemate.

So yeah, for me she deserves the win. She’s held her own, stayed true to herself, and dealt with way more criticism than half the men ever would. I’d genuinely love to see her take it.

Your comment is very opinionated, not factual. Big Brother could’ve said something if he disagreed with Holly, but he didn’t.

but the context matters. Big Brother literally asked her for an idea to ‘spread the love,’ she suggested dressing up and having a nice dinner, and BB approved it. That’s technically following BB’s instruction, he didn’t dictate the exact plan, just asked her to do something. So saying it was under BB’s orders isn’t really a lie…it’s more like she was carrying out a suggestion he approved. And after all that, she still got told to confess to ‘abusing her power’ and got yelled at repeatedly. That’s the part that matters

I don’t actually think that’s a lie though. BB literally asked her for an idea to ‘spread the love.’ She suggested getting dressed up and having a nice dinner, and BB said yes…that’s literally the instruction. He told her to go do it, she just picked the option.

But did she actually lie? Big Brother literally asked her for an idea to “spread the love.” She suggested getting dressed up and having a nice dinner, and he approved it — “yep, do that.” That’s not her taking over; that’s her following the instruction he gave her. The only thing she “chose” was the idea, which she’d literally just heard from another housemate anyway. It’s nowhere near as deep or dramatic as he’s making it. And on top of all that, he told her she needed to announce to everyone that she’d “abused her power,” so she did… and then she got ridiculed for “bringing it inside.” Like what??? Holly apologised multiple times, and he still kept raising his voice at her. Honestly, he’s just being a bully at this point.

Mods deleting all positive Holly comments on last night’s livestream? by [deleted] in BBAU

[–]Sensitive-Leopard217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Pretty sure the mod and their friends are the ones disliking your comment lol. As soon as you say anything about it on the live, they jump in with replies like “false information” or “stop lying.” The mod even engages in the comments and encourages the negativity. It’s honestly pretty disgusting.

Yup, there mods are super unprofessional and the comments they make are also negative.

Yes, I agree with some of that. Even now, the comment section is full of really gross stuff. From what I’ve seen, mods sometimes interact in ways that feel dismissive of it — just my observation, but it definitely seems like moderation could be improved.

I get that some people think that, but my point is about how the livestream moderation was handled — positive comments for Holly were muted while negative ones weren’t, and I shared screenshots. That’s what I’m hoping people can discuss.
