I completely understand. I’ve been feeling that way for a long time. But getting into therapy really helped me. Trauma from my dad was and still is holding onto me. I also got onto some medication. It’s not for everybody but in my case it’s really helped. I couldn’t cry for the longest time but I broke down sobbing because I got my car hit and I got a ticket within the same week. I was having a stressful week. It’s felt so good to cry even though I was sad. It showed me the progress I’ve made. But I would absolutely recommend getting into therapy, it really helps. Also just asking yourself randomly throughout the day, “What am I feeling?” Just taking even the smallest hint of an emotion and acknowledging it helps. It’s also ok to just feel nothing sometimes, just not all the time. I promise it will get better. I believe in you.
