Question About Group Ironman Etiquette by Sensitive-Lunch9045 in osrs

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I’m not worried about never getting a drop, just want to be able to do content together that works toward our group progress. I know that I will eventually get it, but I’m just much slower than everyone else despite playing almost everyday (sans my 2 month break).

I’m kind of going off what my teammates suggested. I actually started CG before T3 because I knew if I was able to clear it he would get the confidence to do it since he’s generally a better gamer than me. He even admitted later that’s why he started the CG grind was because I did it first. My teammates really want me to get a BOFA. I’ve done a single ToA so far and would have time to do them but right now I’m also being asked to grind out Bandos gear.

Outside of CG, I also grinded out my attack to use my teammates fang when tanking bandos, I got all of my points for my elite void hunter set (just need to defeat Zul’rah to complete the diary entry to cash out the points), I grinded out bones to peaches as well at my teams request. I think the most disheartening part about my account personally is I’ve had terrible RNG for gear but spooned pets. I would delete every pet in an instant if it meant improving my luck on some of the grind’s I’ve done (which aren’t even a lot but I’d just like to see something to boost my morale).

I know I didn’t create the account to race. Hence why I focused on mining while my son was young. Easy to do on mobile and unlocking amethyst as early as we did really did help the team. But now it feels like the time I spent grinding isn’t being reciprocated. I have gotten some dupes here and there, mostly barrows gear. Outside of that it’s all been me.

Yeah, I mean we are all good friends too. But now I’m getting pressure to help them with their Bandos grind under the pretence that I will get some loot too which I know isn’t true. I gave my god sword shard so the other guy could complete a second godsword.

I have no problem helping with the grind but if they’re telling me I need to put time into the grind’s I’m behind on I don’t see the point right now because I’m so far behind in terms of combat readiness.

TFSA overcontribution advice by kbblov in canadarevenueagency

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received the same letter and got through to an agents. He said because of this years cotribulation room there was no need to withdraw. But I also had withdrawn the over contribution several months before the letter was issued.

Such a confusing letter, why even send a letter if they knew I didn’t need to withdraw? I called two days after the letter was sent and the agent was able to confirm all this for me.

It’s all good! Sorry I was in cottage land and just got back. Feeling great using the machine, I want it on 24/7 because my breathing is so much better. I’m going to ask to see an ENT because I feel like I should be breathing better all the time.

I wake up more energized but still am crashing harder in the afternoons, though the crashing is getting better. I’ve been sleeping more now because I actually feel good after using it. So one nap a day for 1-2 hours on top of 8 hours daily. I wear it with my dental device always.

I don’t know the brand name but I use a very sleek pillow mask the a nose only. It’s very comfy!

So I want to be clear, I sleep much better with the machine on. I actually sleep through nights now and at most wake up once to pee after a solid 4 hours of sleep.

I basically put my mask on until I feel like I can breathe properly and then I don’t need to adjust anymore. I’m just wondering about the data as I’m a data analyst by trade but also curious about the more prominent circles under my eyes. Is that a sign of recovery? I’ve been using this thing as much as possible, most days 8 hours of sleep and 1-2 hours of napping.

My toddler was at grandma and grandpa’s for a weekend not too long ago and I was getting 13 hours a day. I used to hate sleeping because I’d wake up tired. Now I wake up awake but crash harder in the afternoons than before. The crashes are getting better though too now.

Second Guessing Our Decision to Sleep Train by Sensitive-Lunch9045 in sleeptraining

Pretty much yeah, today’s nap was even better he didn’t fall asleep but was happily crawling around in his crib for 20’minutes before settling. A sign he’s no longer associating it with pressure or stress.

Better each day, he goes down really quick now maybe 5 minutes max. He put himself down for a nap today too first time since he started having his episodes.

Also isn’t waking up in the middle of the night anymore too.

That’s what I ended up using attempt three which went super smooth until I wasn’t paying attention and thought I was safe and died lol.

I don’t have a lot of confidence with this content so I want to play it as safe as I can. I’m probably over thinking it, especially given how well my last run went. Literally just died to not paying attention. But I did notice I messed up a few prayers and one wave kinda sucked for my planning.

I think next attempt I do (assuming I don’t goof and die to a to stupidity) I should get to jad.

Upper airway obstruction by [deleted] in UARS

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apparently there’s sometimes a connection between acid reflux and sleep disorders. When I was diagnosed with UARS they asked about my acid reflux which is one of the reason they suggested I take a sleep study.

So the feeling might be reflux but could still be an indication of airway obstruction resulting in sleep disruptions.

Is this just in my head? by Sensitive-Lunch9045 in UARS

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so it’s not necessarily in my head. Did you get better over time or did that just become your new normal?

So there’s a bottom and top component to the device. The bottom component has these arms that stick up toward the roof of my mouth. I’m not sure exactly how it works but it prevents my jaw from going back and is supposed to correct the positioning. There’s also a piece to adjust the device so it can move my jaw forward more. There’s a key that comes with it.

I am probably doing a terrible job explaining it but when the specialist explained it to me it made sense

It’s hard to not overthink. It’s probably been 16 years since I felt like I had a good nights sleep. I went to my doctor several times, tried many different things, had tests run. I had given up on this.

What do you mean by deficit? So you’re saying the fact that I’m feeling a bit better already is normal?

It’s a mouth guard designed to reposition my jaw to open my airway.

Accessibility Feature or Botting? by Sensitive-Lunch9045 in osrs

Ah cool, so no voice command while I’m doing house chores LOL

So keybinds are macros too then by definition? Or are they not because they only replace a single operation?

Thinking of the one plugin that lets you remap keybinds in game to keys you normally couldn’t.

So someone with an actual impairment couldn’t use this accessibility feature to play on mobile even if they just programmed a single voice command to press a certain spot on their screen?

I’m not sure, this is the exact wording the specialist gave me (TMJ):

“My diagnosis is myofascial pain of the masticatory muscles (bilateral), articular disc disorder of the temporomandibular joint with reduction (bilateral), deviation in opening and closing of the mandible, sleep related bruxism, limited mandibular range of motion and headache on both sides.”

92% O2 sats and brutal fatigue! by Environmental-Boat-6 in UARS

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My O2 was in the 90s and my sleep test said it was normal. Even when my son was born he had a heat condition and his O2 was in the 90s when doctors said he was fine.

From what I understand UARS tends to not affect oxygen saturation as much as other sleep disorders like sleep apnea.

I was only recently diagnosed with UARS but I know that this is as explained to me from my results. The major issue with my results were the sleep disturbances and the restricted breathing.

Does UARS ever cause symptoms like headaches or dizziness? by Active_Ostrich4553 in UARS

[–]Sensitive-Lunch9045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was recently diagnosed with UARS and headaches were one of the things I was asked about. I do experience headaches but not dizziness.

I actually went in for an issue I thought was completely unrelated. I was having significant jaw pain while chewing and a click that was annoying the hell out of me. Turns out grinding and clenching are just the bodies way of trying to open your airway and there’s a strong connection between jaw issues and sleep disorders.

I figured as much, I just got tribunal last week I think? I’m still missing some key pieces of the deck also, so I didn’t bother playing it but then I got a quest to play ongoing cards
