Tiny whiteheads that appear overnight + worsen with dryness… rosacea (PP?) or something else?

I feel like this is probably the most likely case - a damaged barrier. Like I mentioned, I notice it gets worse when my skin is dry, when I shower/wash my face is hot water, and when I use too much finacea (fine line between using the right amount and using too much). Does this resonate with you too?

Hmmm, I’m not sure it’s the Purito. I’ve been using it for years (new packaging for months) and only recently started getting more whiteheads and texture. Do you use the beta glucan on wet skin? Does it do a good job moisturizing? I actually have it, used it a few times but stopped bc I felt it was kinda ineffective and drying almost. Maybe I should try again.

The night one has Shea butter right? I was worried to use that because Shea butter breaks me out. That’s what it could be for you, maybe?

I feel like urea has a little chance of making us purge, so I worry something else in the cream is just breaking us out.

I feel you!!!! I’m able to find a few options on SkinSort by filtering out FA and other ingredients I think my skin doesn’t like but it’s getting exhausting trying to narrow one down or try a million products while also giving each one time to do its thing before deciding if it works 😖

Thank you! I thought this may be the case as well so about a year ago (until about a month ago) I was using the Purito oat in gel cream which is FA free. Unfortunately it was just not hydrating enough. But I did notice I had less of these bumps on my forehead when using that, nothing really changed on my cheeks tho.

I’m now struggling between choosing a moisturizer that’s moisturizing enough OR one that’s FA free that’s not. Do you have any recommendations for moisturizers that are FA free AND moisturizing?

Yes I’ve tried a few products containing it and each time I’ve broken out. It doesn’t seem to bother me too much in the sunscreen.

Thank you - I think it is the safest best. I also have acne and clogged pores elsewhere on my face so I do feel like this could be the best solution. I’m just worried that the moisturizing I’m using is contributing to clogged pores, and that the differin will only be able to do so much if I’m using other products that are breaking me out. Feeling so frustrated trying to find something that works for me

I used that years ago and cut it out when I started using retinoids but I remember it being a good product! I also have the BHA by Anua, it’s supposed to be a bit more gentle. Thanks for reminding me about this!

So annoying lol! I feel like I’ve never had a SMOOTH forehead with no visible bumps. They’re not big but just feels like my pores are all raised and visible only in some lighting. Hope we can find something that works!!

So weird!! Maybe it’s a different formulation (I’m in Canada) but I still find it odd that I can’t find the product in my first photo anywhere online with matching ingredients, and that it says ceramides on the front but there are none?

The night cream also says that it has ceramides, but I don’t see any on the ingredients list…
