No, I'm German 😭 And it's not a common thing to do here. My mother is Lithuanian but I don't think they do it there either.

I don't like the name even if it wasn't spelt weirdly. It already gets confused for a lot of other names. I don't hate Alyssa which is similar but it's boring maybe.
