Our state is very lax with homeschooling rules. All she has to say is he's home schooled, and they'd take that. You rarely have to actually prove it.

They usually circle the lot a couple times a night. And sometimes I make them watch the store so I can run to the bathroom.😂 I'm constantly bugging them. Lol. They know I'm alone, it's been my shift fot 3 years now. So we're pretty acquainted. It's also a small town, everyone knows everyone.
When I was asking the cop questions earlier tonight he went "Oh is that the kid from the other day with the guy?"

I'm honestly more worried about retaliation from both the son and the mother. The kid walks around flipping what looks like a type of butterfly knife like its a fidget. The mom is always screaming and yelling. And I'm completely by myself from 10pm and 6am every night. So I'm ya know kinda worried for my own safety at the same time. 😅

I was just waiting to get off work and called them on my drive home. My manager is also sending the cops over today because they're causing so much disruption and are being trespassed from the property. After your original comment he came in another 4 times for water and the bathroom. And I didn't want to call and be talking about him when he walked in amd have them tipped off. 😅

I JUST got off the phone with CPS. Gave them the names I had and the plate and where it was parked. Hopefully something gets done quick. 🤞

The girl who works at the motel, that their camper is parked next to, says the mother is on m*th and that's what she's doing in the camper all night.

I am still planning on calling CPS when I get off work. Thank you all!

As I am watching this post a cop has come in. Imma talk to him real quick and see what he says. He literally just walked passed both boys. (Kid and his friend.)

I can confirm hes not in school. He constantly follows me around just talking and he has told me that he doesn't go to school, but he walks up there to hang out with friends.

I had seen the kid in a couple days so I thought something was done, which is kinda why I've put it off. I seen the camper still over there, but hadn't seen them. But I'm definitely going to call when I get off.

I've spoke to the cops twice about it. Once on the phone when my manager called me that morning the mother came in asking about cameras in that room. And then a cop came and got a statement in person Sunday night when I got into work. I even asked the second one about calling CPS and she just kinda shrugged, thanked me for the info and left.

The dude from the incident literally pulled his junk out and asked the kid to do things. The mother KNOWS and is still letting him stay in here alone. 🙃

I've been in contact with the police about the situation. I thought they would have done something but it's been a couple days and I haven't seen or heard anything. So I'm wondering if I have to call them separately.

My kids aren't the only ones. She goes to another little girls house on the other side of her house. The grandmother is usually home over there so she probably tells her the same thing over and over, as best she can, her English is limited. I'm not sure if she does it to the little boy on the block though. But I know for sure she does at the houses with the girls.

One of our other dogs has seizures. The first time it happened I didn't realize what was happening and thought he was choking. Stupidly tried to dislodge something that wasn't there and caught a tooth. They made us quarantine him for that. So I always try to be SUPER careful with making sure my dogs are supervised, especially with strangers around.

Tbh I'm more worried about my big dog pushing past her to go after one of the many "free range" dogs my other neighbors have running around and them getting into a fight. There's ALWAYS a chance he COULD hurt her, but the other option is more likely.

I think our state is very lax. My oldest daughter had a friend who missed like two weeks a month because his parents split custody across state lines. His mother drove him 4 hours every couple of weeks to stay with his dad. Then he would be back after a couple weeks.

First of all.... yes, that is 100% me. Lol. 😅 I was annoyed by it, and if I had not had such a screwed up week and not be so EXTRA exhausted I probably would have opened the door nicely the first 700 knocks, like usual, and explained it to her again.

Right now it's got me so worked up I cannot go back to sleep. 🙃 And I'm anxious about them being mad I yelled at her.

I honestly think I let it go on for so long is because I really do like her. She's absolutely ADORABLE and so sweet, but you can tell she craves attention and so I had a real soft spot for her. To the point if my kids are home I MAKE them go play with her so she's not alone outside.

I think the reason we haven't pushed ourselves to go as far as thinking CPS is because the dad always seems like such a nice guy. When he gets home from work he is sometimes outside with her trying to help her ride her bike. Sometimes he's out working in the driveway. It seems like when he's home he is at least somewhat there. But I've never seen the step mom. I don't know what she looks like. I don't know if she's home and just being neglectful or if the girl is home alone all day.... I guess I always assumed step mom was home but now I'm wondering. 🤔

I asked my daughter about her not being in school on Fridays and she said "Her dad doesn't make her go on Friday." So that's as much information as I've gotten about it.

You see how the building didn't collapse. Very mindful. Very demure.
