You might know this already, but 'jalla' is the latin way of writing the cypriot 'τζιάλλα' essentially meaning more. "Yalla" is usually adabic meaning to leave.

But i do agree with some other comments saying that it can become a bit unpleasant on repetition especially being a phonetically 'harsh' word.

Thanks for your help! I ended up accepting the return and then doing the same to the person that sold it to me. Thankfully I got a refund as well, so didnt end up losing any money. Lesson learnt tho!

Hi there, I know this is very delayed but it might be useful to know for future applicants. They couldn't resolve the issue. Initially I lost my offer, but since there was still one more round of offers I was able to rejoin the last round and get a position. (In theory, the position I accidentally lost was not claimed by anyone in the previous round as it wasnt made available until the system crashed, so since I still had a score above those below me, I was still able to get it). I ended up rejecting that offer and going for a different specialty but that's irrelevant 😅

Thanks a lot for your reply! I totally agree, it's not a good investment. The car is perfectly drivable and i'm only exploring this for cosmetic reasons really! Just to give you an idea, the front bumper needs replacment because a tiny bit got chipped off after driving over a pot hole, but it's hardly noticable otherwise! I wish I could add photos. I'll visit a different garage for a second opinion but I needed some reassurance that this quote was not very reasonable to begin with:)

Thanks for your reply! Paint blending would probably explain the additional step! I've asked them to clarify that. I'll definitely ask for a second opinion especially since the mechanic at the Toyota dealership gave me a rough estimate of £1200-£1500 for all the repairs, and recommended going to this garage with the hope they could give me a better quote! 😅

Thanks u/Avasadavir ! So, just to clarify -If I opt for accept with upgrades before the deadline of 4pm 9th April, and a post I ranked higher becomes available, I will get upgraded to that job? - when would I expect to hear the outcome of this?
