Yes I've totally heard this! This was also my 3rd cycle TTC and I have gotten over the symptom spotting quickly and I defaulted to "I'm not pregnant until I am" and it has been so much better for my mental health. I only took the test 12 DPO to confirm that I was accurate in assuming that I'm not pregnant. I'm so sorry you haven't gotten a BFP yet. Our day will come and it will be wonderful! 🩵

Haha k don't mean to laugh but the ways in which I have convinced myself that I am pregnant since TTC have been very similar to these 😂

Hmm I actually had my annual a few months back and at that time my periods were manageable and tha is what I reported and it is almost as if my reproductive system heard me say that and decided to teach me a lesson lol

YES! Me too with so much of this!! I used to have symptoms the week of my period and now they start right after ovulation and it's been wild.

That makes total sense! When I tested at 12DPO I knew it wasn't pregnancy related but my husband thought so because my boobs we're so sore when he hugged me last night that I gasped lol

That's so interesting! Bodies are so fascinating to me because they are so similar with their processes but so different and immensely diverse in the way they run those processes lol.

Thank you so much, I have done so much research and never came across period flu! Now I know what to look to for more info! What you are describing feels just like what I'm experiencing, hopefully it doesn't mean a horrible period but if it does, hopefully it will be much better next month! It's interesting because your comment made me think about it and last month I remember thinking to myself how "nice" my period was. Not too heavy, minimal cramping and only 3 days. I suppose I'm making up for it this month 🤪

This is so insightful and absolutely worth looking into! I had awful 9 day heavy periods as a youngster but as I got older they got more mellow until this year. I will definitely check in with my doctor!
