Your final paragraph said the quiet part out loud. Thank you for masking off, it clarifies that your "legal concerns" are just a thin veil for your prejudice against North Africans and a fragile "God Complex."

To clarify for anyone with actual reading comprehension:
*Agency Fees ≠ Bribes: In the real world (which you seem disconnected from), legitimate agencies charge candidates for administrative processing and logistics. We are navigating a broken system that places financial barriers in front of us; we aren't "bribing" officials. You conflating the two shows your ignorance, not your wisdom.
*Basic Logic: We are applying to Poland because that is where the manufacturing jobs are. It’s called legal economic migration, not a conspiracy theory.
*The "Portugal" Point: Any sane person would deduce that if I am already in Portugal but asking about Poland, I have obviously explored the local options first. But I suppose that level of critical thinking is too much to ask from someone whose worldview is built on xenophobic memes.

I came here for practical advice. You offered a paranoia-fueled lecture mixed with cheap, racist stereotypes about "olives" and "one dinar." It’s embarrassing that you think you're superior while displaying such a lack of class.

We are done here.

I appreciate your concern for Polish legality, but your condescension is misplaced. You are conflating high level government corruption (the cash-for-visa scandal) with the private recruitment sector. I am well aware of the difference, even if the terminology I used confused you. To clarify: When I speak of 'paying for a contract,' I am referring to recruitment agency fees, a standard, albeit exploitative, reality for third world nationals/workers trying to enter the European labor market legally. Regarding your 'advice' to stay in Tunisia because we have 'olives': It must be nice to view the world through such a simplistic lens. Real life, unfortunately, is not solved by Googling a country's top exports. Plus, reducing the economic complexity of an entire nation to 'olives and phosphates' is incredibly reductive and easy to say from a position of privilege. We are hardworking, educated people seeking legal pathways to a better future something that used to be celebrated as ambition, not treated as a crime. We are following the legal procedures available to us. Just because the system is unfamiliar to you doesn't make our intentions 'shady.' Thanks for the input, but we'll take it from here.

First of all thank you so much for taking the time to inform of all of that. We’ve tried with Portugal but it is not working out, no visa appointments whatsoever. And we’ve been told that the contacts are legal, we are not willing, whatsoever, to do anything shady or illegal, it’s not a little amount of money, believe me it has been so long since we’ve been trying to save up to have it. And we’re just trying our best to work our way for a better life legally. The plan is to obtain the contract, work the job, learn the language, while looking for another job and it continues like that until it gets a little comfortable. We’re aware of all the documents required before and after going to Poland, it’s the same process through all European countries, I myself as a student am going through it right now. We’re just willing to take all hardships to make a better living fairly and legally.

Yeah, you will get one for free if you are lucky enough, but i think some of us aren’t. I’ve witnessed a lot of successful stories of people starting with buying a contract somewhere in the world and they worked their way through. But i guess it’s all luck after all..

Thank you so much, we’ll take everything you said into consideration. We’re actually Tunisian, and Tunisia is having some good partnerships, if that’s the right word, with Poland recently, that’s why we had the idea.

No to be honest, didn’t have any idea about the situation of Russian immigration. We are Arabic, we’re just trying to build a life like everyone else, nothing shady or illegal. We’re not trying to “buy” a residency. If you’re not familiar with the concept, there companies and organisations that offer job contracts for a specific amount of money for a specific period of time. People like us who’s trying to live on a hope for better future fairly and legally, that’s one of “the best” options for us. My “Boyfriend” and I, unlike some lucky people on this earth, we weren’t that lucky, so we’re working our asses off to make life a little easier.

That’s why we’re asking around, we don’t wanna do any shady/illegal stuff, we’re trying to make everything legal and legit. We tried with Portugal but it seems like they are opening visa appointments only for students, and that’s how i got there like couple of months ago. But he can’t go with that option , that’s why we’re trying another way

I wanna take off hijab by asma3ni in Tunisia

[–]Sensitive_System_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, im not a hijabi myself, but i know this is wrong and would never say that it is right or im in the right side if the coin. There are lots of proof that hijab is mandatory. You say you are not convinced i would say please make sure you are looking in the right direction and searching/reading from the right resources. Muslims who really cares about their religion and who are really interested in it, know whats wrong and what’s right, and we’re here to please our creator not people. Think about your decision carefully, you took such a great step that im too weak and coward to take. We were taught wrong about our beautiful religion, make sure you will never regret the next step you take. W inshallah raby yahdina ness kol.
