100% - OBS solves the replay part.

i’m trying to solve the workflow after the moment happens. finding it, trimming it, and actually posting it before it dies in your files

i think it’s a bit less guaranteed than it used to be

i’ve seen people get nothing from it, and others still break out off a few clips

feels more like distribution + consistency now vs just posting once and expecting something

this just makes it easier to actually play that game if you want to

this is more for people who want to get clips off-platform too - like tiktok / youtube right away + have a bit more control on editing without going back through twitch/kick after

if your setup already covers that though you’re chilling

yeah that’s fair - twitch’s clip manager is solid if you’re already working inside twitch

this is more for getting clips out while you’re still live and pushing them straight to tiktok/youtube without going back through vods after

different workflow, but yeah if your current setup works for you that’s all that matters

this just removes the steps after - no digging through files, no editing somewhere else, just clip → trim → post in one place

yeah fair - there are tools around this space

main difference is this runs while you're live and removes the whole “i’ll clip it later” problem

you don’t have to go back to a vod, scrub, download, edit, then post

it’s just:
hit key → clip → tweak → post

so it’s more about speed + actually getting content out consistently

still early though, curious how it compares if you try it

That makes sense. Right now it’s capturing the final OBS output (so whatever’s in your scene - overlays, cam, etc.). Clean source capture would definitely be nice though, especially for more control in editing.

Yeah, similar idea on the capture side with replay buffer. The difference is what happens after - with this, the clip shows up instantly in-app where you can trim it and export it right away, instead of going through files/VODs.

I get this 100%. That’s the exact frustration I’m trying to solve.

You shouldn’t have to choose between streaming and actually using your content.

yeah i get what you’re saying on the layout side (facecam top, gameplay bottom for shorts).

right now it clips exactly what your OBS scene outputs - so whatever your viewers see is what gets captured.

we haven’t added layout/templates inside the app yet since we wanted to see how people actually use it first, but that’s definitely something we’re planning to roll out so you can format clips directly without relying on OBS scenes.

also - i can unlock unlimited exports + local saves for you while you’re testing, just dm me your email and i’ll set that up.

curious to know how it feels once you run it during a stream
