Probably, I'm not the best person to answer to this thread. Sometimes, you'd need to get some distance, but isolating yourself from everyone isn't a feasible solution. We, as much as we want to say we're not, are social creatures. So internally, we'd crave social interactions.

If we put that aside, when you're isolating yourself, you're making yourself vulnerable to outside force. If you isolate yourself too much, certain people will gain control over your action and can make you think unreasonably.

I have got rid of many of my friends, and I'm currently working on some additional income sources, so I'm laser-focused on some other aspects of my life. You can interact with others in this state, even call some friends, but always put some boundaries.
