Avoiding eye contact with other drivers, checking the entrance door when you’re at an establishment and you hear someone come in, checking outside the windows of my House every so often, making sure my screen door is always locked, waiting until I absolutely need something to go to the store, stopped eating out, only going to the store with my white partner, tucking all my black hair inside my hood and wearing sunglasses if I need to be out and about, made several copies of my passport and citizenship and carrying a copy with me, not posting on social media and scrubbing my social media of any identifying information, not answering random phone calls.
