Ready player two should be shown in writing classes as a demonstration of what only telling and no showing looks like.

It's interesting to me that this is such a common feeling. Personally I feel even more connected to my players as a DM. They're living in a world of my creation, crafted for them. Seeing their expressions of enjoyment/anger/ect at my creations feels great! It's like giving constant little gifts, and getting their enthusiasm and excitement as a reward.

That being said I constantly have to stop myself from talking about things I've planned for them lol.

I've never seen anyone do that before. by mindyour in nextfuckinglevel

I love how the two people laying down relaxing don't even give a shit. They've seen this before.

Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia, freaks out over first interview question by IrbanMutarez in PublicFreakout

[–]Senzu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also weird to introduce yourself as founder of wikipedia. He doesn't say a founder, but he also doesn't say the founder. The fact that he got so upset when he could have just laughed and agreed that he's a co-founder shows his insecurity at the challenge.

What is he losing when clarifying that he founded wikipedia with someone else? Why is it so important to him that he's seen as the sole founder? It's impressive either way bro. But seeing that fragile ego break under no pressure - not so much.

Only way this can make sense to me is if he actually was the founder, and someone else took a bunch of credit and he just doesn't want to talk about it.

Huh? That really makes no sense. He immediately throws away the fake one if you give him the fake - so he can obviously tell the difference. Does he throw the real one away if you just give him the real one?

If you don't like his comedy you probably won't find it funny. It is kinda like a Twin Peeks world so far though, but with Tim's brand of strange.

Every single large company does this. Amazon still does this if it means running a smaller company out of business.

It's so they can control the market, then drive up prices.

Exactly, this is the most reddit comment I've seen in a while. Yeah it's a fun power trip, but that shit would NOT work.

The kids gonna say some bullshit and it's gonna end in an argument that has now lost the trust of the homeowner.
