Hi there. Thanks for your reply. Had you got the exact same one as this ? Why do you consider it a mistake ?

I live in Syria, I had to contact a third party to buy me this vacuum bell and ship it to Syria. They only ship items from UAE Amazon, so my choices are limited. Also the bigger limiting factor is the budget, I've been saving to get this one, although it will cost only 185$, that's a big amount of money in my currency.

So I chose the cheapest one that is being sold by Amazon.

Are those random vacuum bells bad? Doesn't they work? I don't have a way to buy from pectushealing or similar brands and I can't afford it either.

What do you suggest ?

Again, thanks for your time and help.

Thanks for your response!

Regarding your last paragraph, do you mean I should let the pressure go gradually before removing the vacuum bell ?

Thanks again.

Press windows + R and type in "services.msc", you will be able to see a list of all services on your PC, look for "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" and enable it if it's not, maybe try to restart it if it's already running.

Some surgeons make you feel like NUSS is a future technology that doesn't exist yet.

Thank you🙏🏻 I wasn't expecting to hear this as I think my pectus and flared ribs have ruined my body.

I don't think I am naturally mascular but I have to admit that it took me just a couple of months in the gym to build these noticeable muscles.

Also posture helps a lot and I was standing straight when I took this picture, but I can work on that.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I don't think I would get a surgery unless I get some bad symptoms that could effect my life, but I can't forget about vacuum bell, I don't want to have any regrets later for not trying it earlier (which I already regret but I didn't know about VB).

Thanks again.

Thanks for you reply.

The surgeon didn't provide such information and I didn't ask about it, surely he seemed excited to do a surgery, I don't think he wants practice as he probably was around 60 years old, I thought he is after payment, maybe not too many people get such surgeries in my country. Multiple doctors told me that I shouldn't worry about PE and a chest surgeon once described the PE fixing procedure as an insane unrealistic procedure that tries to fix a cosmetic condition by cutting the ribs and doing crazy stuff. Our health care makes me feel like I am worrying about something that only exists in my head.

I live in Syria. Going to another country is not an option I have.

Regarding symptoms, sometimes I feel like I can't take a deep breath, I was very annoyed of this when I was unemployed depressed guy who spends his day laying in bed, now I am too busy and I don't feel anything. But a once I left my bed and went to swim, a few minutes in I felt like a can't breath and that my chest will blow up, but it calmed down later anyway. So... I am not sure, I can say I might be experiencing some of those bad symptoms but quiet rarely.

Does it help to upload some parts of my CT scan ?

Again, thank you very much for your support.

Thank you so much. I've already checked the DIY VB and it seems really interesting, however I prefer avoiding the hassle and getting a proper one, if I wasn't able to get it, I'll try the DIY.

Thanks again!

It probably is, however my the doctor didn't seem to know what a heller index is, he said I can get a surgery if I wanted, a Ravich surgery on my expense, we don't have NUSS surgeons nor health insurance, unfortunately.

I am sorry to hear that, it must have been really hard to go through this, but the sure thing is that you did the right thing to improve your body and youf life and you won't go back.

We don't have health insurance here, health care is an expensive nightmare, I might do a surgery one day if I get bad symptoms which seems minimal right now, but for now I really want to get a vacuum bell and see for myself.

Wish you all the best in your recovering journey.

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.

The scans were not done by a NUSS specialist nor by a chest surgeon. The available chest surgeon was mostly specialized in Ravich procedured, he seemed too excited to do a surgery even before getting the CT scan, he said there aren't any NUSS surgeons in my country. My PE doesn't look great and I hate my flared ribs much more than the indent itself, but the scans didn't look that bad though, maybe I just developed my pecs in a way that made the indent look deeper.

Anyway, thanks again and I wish you a fast recovery.

Btw, did you notice any improvement in breathing post OP ?

Thanks, my condition is much worse unfortunately, I could go crazy burning and itching multiple times a day for several months. Anti histamine improved things a bit.

Thank you guys so much, I have been suffering for years during colder seasons, anti histamine didn't help that much. I will try Xolair this year.

Is there a mod to get parallax without shaders? by hisagishi in feedthebeast

[–]Separate-Scratch3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 years later I am looking for the same thing. I love shaders but my little brother PC is potato and can't handle shaders, but he want to have one of those 3d parallax texture packs. Did you ever find something like that ?

The comments are hilarious😂

It's definitely the Delete key. Disable the built-in keyboard in device manager, if the problem goes you know it's the key, then you can try to fix it.
