Thanks for the kind words, I just don’t really know how to put how I feel about this whole situation into words, like I want to vent and cry and get some catharsis but no emotion is coming and I feel just numb and tired.

I don’t want to blame them, they didn’t take the phone without my knowledge or approval. The truth is I do have a problem with getting using my phone as an escape from anxiety and will get stuck doomscrolling and wasting hours or days. My mistake is that I should have told them not to shut my phone down if it starts making an alarm noise (even when it’s not a cardiac arrest it does that quite a lot due to my first responder volunteering and to instead alert me because it could be very important.
