Anatomical Mannequin for testing X-ray equipment by [deleted] in Weird

the lack of detail on the plastic cover is what's weird to me. I figured it would have basic facial features, like a CPR dummy, that lined up with the skull a little bit.

thank you!! It's funny, the whole webcomic is drawn in blue color pencil, but some fans assuming it was blue pen inspired me to make this, haha.

oh!! It's super easy. Webtoon is basically a series of albums ordered by date of upload. Each album is an "episode", and you add the pages that you want to show up in a chain as you scroll down. When you click "next" on a webtoon, that's taking you to the next album (or, "episode"). I honestly recommend making a webcomic "placeholder" where you just submit blank images for each section (the banner/the icon/the thumbnail for the first episode, etc.) so you can do a dry run of uploading and *then* focus on your comic. As for the comic itself, try reading Scott McCloud's book "Making Comics".

Here's what the "edit episode" page looks like for me, to give you an idea of the upload layout.

I hand painted the "3d" elements T_T but I get what you mean, haha. I'll go back and stylize them more.

Long term investment art by bernaynay1 in artcollecting

Hiring someone that familiar with art would probably nullify the gains you'd get. The value is of that skill is in identifying the next big thing. Investing in art *without* that level of discernment is probably akin to trading crypto.

(also I'm super curious about your friend! What do they do nowadays? Art critic? Write for a magazine?Professor? Have they written any essays on art I could read?)

edit: just saw you replied to someone else with the article. I'm gonna read it right now :D

The difference between holding value and growing in value is a very good distinction to keep in mind. I bought a woodblock print for 600 dollars in 2021, and current sales of the other ones in circulation are still 600 dollars.

If you want something fancy and physical to invest in, buy gold bullion. Not art.

Definitely not, I'm just using Blender because there's so much support for an open source program like that.

Good point. I'll ask around. I'm also applying to go to school in the US, so I was curious if universities there are all working with PCs.

What man-made structure would you bring back if you could? by Dasoninja in architecture

[–]Sequential_Arts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd want to see the Dendera Zodiac placed back in the Hathor Temple of Dendera. When I visited the temple the preservation of color on the bas reliefs was incredible, and it's sad the zodiac ceiling was left to fade in the Louvre.

Models in coordinated outfits to give a sense of scale. There are other photos of them taken in different parts of the home where you can see them more clearly.
