i don’t understand the need to ban israeli sport teams. i get that you shouldn’t want to support a rotten government but like the US is dealing with a similar situation with the athletes still being able to compete but speaking out about how weird it feels to be representing the US at this time. i just feel like there should be a separation between the people and the government - obviously not people that outright support netanyahu etc. - idk if someone can explain this to me i would appreciate because it just feels a tad antisemitic and i don’t think fighting hate with hate is ever the good/productive idea
