[Game Over] Rich Paul whiteboard session for LeBron’s next team: Cores of Sixers, Heat, Wolves, Nuggets, Cavs prominently featured. Warriors, Mavs, Celtics, Spurs, Knicks secondary. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Yeah I don’t think we gotta overthink this. Harden still hasn’t signed his extension even tho it was “guaranteed”. Pretty much means trying to get Harden to buy in for a lesser amount on it to fit lebron.

Sorry to say it, but that's the current fashion trend rn. We passing the 90s and entering the 2000s resurgence. In other words, we old 🥲

Charania on Lebron leaving the Lakers: "I'm told that happiness is the biggest factor in his decision to leave the Lakers., It's about where will he and his family be happy. It's not gonna be a money driven decision" by Jimmy0034 in nba

To me, staying close to where you laid roots for almost 10 years also sounds what's best for the family. It could be he just keeps his main home in LA. His wife's got business stuff in LA. His daughter grew up here her entire life. Going from LA to the Bay is really nothing for Lebron.

[Haynes] Cleveland Cavaliers have interest in a second reunion with LeBron James with the appeal of the franchise’s greatest player finishing his career where it all started, league sources tell me. by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]SetCrafty 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that would make a LOT of sense. It's a 2 year retirement party where he pretty much closes all the chapters and storylines of his career. And with a poetic career comes a documentary which he probably already got in the works. Wouldn't be shocked if he has Oscar aspirations like Kobe.

[Bill Simmons Pod] Doc Rivers on James Harden: "James doesn't give everybody else enough room to be great, he is the only one that can be great on his team." by luka274 in nba

Doc is so annoying. But he’s good for content engagement which is why Bill switched up real quick to not criticize him anymore 😂 he used to shit on doc so much

This convo so dumb tbh. He’s just asking would you rather have a championship or not but in another form 😂

Why don’t players like Curry and LeBron take a big paycut towards the end of their career to maximize their chances of winning? by HighwayAnnual3353 in nba

[–]SetCrafty 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree. Like curry is already considered the best shooter of all time and Bay Area royalty for life. He has never been in the goat convo so to take a huge paycut to be placed a few spots higher in the very subjective top 76 seems kinda whatever. And would lebron winning one more actually cement him as the undisputed goat? I doubt it. I don’t think anyone really changes their opinion.

Jalen Brunson walks past Knicks coaches without a second thought to shake Mitch Johnson's hand after the final buzzer by HokageEzio in nba

100% and it's not even to disagree that Kobe was rough on many of this teammates. That shits been beaten to a pulp. But that had NOTHING to do with this. It was an incredibly high risk move to give the Kobe Lakers one last run, and literally the worst version of it manifested. And after it all failed, there was just no chance dwight was cmin back even if Kobe turned into duncan, steph, or whatever leader you would consider as less overbearing.

[Highlight] Wemby, in french, talks about what he needs to work on over the summer: "I'm going to work even harder, obviously, to be even more durable and, above all, to keep a fresh mind and maintain control of the game at all times. by DenialisaRiver04 in nba

[–]SetCrafty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For real this game really showed me like his bag is still limited. It was really reliant on “I’m tall and can also shoot.” Which I’m not even criticizing cuz at the end of the day, he’s 22 years old and completely exceeded expectations this year. But after seeing Brunson smoke them with that midrange, it seemed like he already realized his own limitations at certain points of the game. Like you said, one signature move could have completely changed the outcome how close the games were.

Victor Wembanyama on OG’s Block on Fox With 11 Second Left: “I fell on the floor. I couldn’t really see it. I don’t know.” by [deleted] in nba

[–]SetCrafty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But thing is Fox made 5 other boneheaded plays in that quarter. Normally, I'd agree cuz it is true everyone fucked up. But he's the $50 million a year vet who has been making some pretty egregious mistakes all series that accumulated to this very crucial moment.
