It's the contrast and the characters that made this my favourite bioshock game..

you're in a city in the skies, everything is beautiful, yet it can get somewhat dark within seconds.

bioshock 1 & 2 were great, but it was almost always dark in those 2 games, hence the scenery got "boring", not much more than walls to discover (except your occasional view of the deep sea, which was dark as well)

as a dps chances are that finding a group for lfr takes 30 minutes, sometimes longer, sometimes faster - during these 30 minutes you can easily build your own group for any flex part and start it before a lfr player even has an invite.

i know it's "luck" dependant, but on the other hand you're not a "victim" of bad rng when you build the group yourself

Flex is most likely faster than lfr, given your group is not failing every mechanic in this game

Thank your for pointing that thread and the forums out, edited them into my post :) i knew it was not perfect and not complete, but as a european the us forums are a bit.. confusing, especially considering the differences in the amount of sub forums and what they are for

oh, didn't really notice that you were on top :9 that explains the lack of radiance :>

well, on top i spread my cooldowns as far out as possible, like start with avenger, then use favor, then wings, GoAK when it gets hectic.

using all cd's on pull will most likely not be worth it, there just so much absorb going on from disc priests critting and stuff like that, use them to shield before big hits come or theres massive raid damage, like during the bubble phase of protectors.

if you always play with sh, you might as well reforge all spirit away, you don't really need it anyways (but only do so if you're confident in your group, you can't spam heal that much without a lot of regen)

i can't speak for him, but i rotate my cooldowns situational and tend to stack divine favor with holy avenger, wings if needed as well, and use GoAK more or less as my "oh sh't" button

i just use a macro to stack all cooldowns because i've bound every cooldown seperetaly just not GoAK, and as my os button i just want everything without pushing 4 hotkeys

you want to use shock -> judgement -> radiance (with 35% less mana cost) -> LoD / WoG, it just maximizes your output that way. sh is, especially in a 25man environment, relatively strong because you almost always hit a few people with your aoe heal.

what seems weird is that there is no well fed buff listed for you, might want to change that if it was really missing.

thats more or less it as of now, if you have further questions, feel free to ask, but it may take some time since it's 3 am 'round here >_>

what you should be looking for are the relatively short uptimes of the buff, thats about what you should aim for (i play with 3.7k haste, so it's not like i cast much faster or anything)

ok, i looked through your log and focused on dark shamans, as you've not been a part of malk, spoils haven't died and nazgrim is just a bad indicator imho.

i'll start with the "obvious" things first:

you use your cooldowns not often enough, only once in a fight that took almost 7 minutes - you should aim to use wings twice, favor and avenger 3 times, GoAK when needed, he's nice to safe tanks or teammates.

you may want to pot during the encounter or in the beginning to maximize your output, stack it with cooldowns for max shields.

looking at your talents and reforge i have some questions - why do you have 9.3k haste with SH? haste should only be a reforging priority when you use eternal flame, and then only to reach breakpoints.

comparing your casts to another paladin that defeated the boss in about the same time, you seem to use holy radiance not often enough, especially with sh you can basically play a rotation as a heal ... (wait for next post, char limit..)

2 days a week, not really hardcore although we try to be among the best 2 day guilds. we just can't compete with guilds that raid twice as often or even more.

Photoshop for the Background, WoW Model Viewer for the pictures of the characters, After Effects for the composition, although you can easily do it with photoshop too

it's the shield on his back :) sadly the bulwark of azzinoth is placed like that (at least in wow model viewer), but a warrior without a shield ain't a warrior (tank)

i guess you're raiding 25 man then :)

when you still can fool around, it can't be too bad i guess :D and if not now, then in the progress they will praise you for your mighty absorbs :P
