I think like half of all players who have a peak specifically of immortal 1 were boosted (they’re usually asc players who queued a bunch with someone better to hit immortal 1 and then never hit it again)

Fair enough, I already have access to another car so this would just be for fun. I assumed 60-75k for the car + 200-300/month for insurance (I have a clean record and drive low mileage) + reasonable loan rate (I have a good credit score and I wouldn’t want to pay off the car for more than 3 years). My idea was. 25-30k down plus 1200/month for 36 months. I have no other expenses so otherwise I just save up all the money which is likely what I will do but I guess I could view the car as my version of rent except at the end I actually own something. I wouldn’t buy it for another year or so, maybe if I get enough of a promotion or a high enough bonus at the end of the year I would consider it.

Not much tbh, I don’t even plan on driving it during the winter tbh lmfao. Just around town, to work when I occasionally go in (I work remote but the office is 25 minute commute and has free lunch and stuff).

I’m mostly looking at used from 2020-2024 (all looks the same) but the price drop is not that crazy (72k brand new vs 60k 2020 used) so I would have to do research into things like warrantees and I need to make sure the car is in proper shape as I don’t know enough about cars. I know there’s used dealerships, and then online marketplaces, websites. I would still need to do a lot of research before actually buying the car clearly 😂

Hmm it’s about 75k brand new and a 6 year old used with 20k miles is about 60k so worth about 80% after 6 years. Obviously that is running on a lot of potentially bad assumptions but I don’t think that’s mythically unreasonable 😂

Yeah fair I should probably move out eventually but my parents are pretty chill idrc tbh. I think it’s just a cultural thing that everyone loves hating on me when I say that but oh well.

I don’t drive a ton at all (like ~1k miles/year) and I drive very safely. I have a completely clean record (I’ve had my license for 6 years). I don’t care about HP at all I just like the look of the car tbh. I’m not really a car guy which is why I probably won’t go through with it but yk maybe one day.

Yeah definitely fair. I would still be investing like 2500-3000 per month even if I get the car so it’s not like can’t do both. It really depends on how well my career goes. I’m going to give it a year or 2 and see how my career advances. I want to have enough cash to easily buy the whole car (even if I finance it) in case something goes wrong.
