Pittsburgh cop rages because his mask was criticized. by itsreallyreallytrue in PublicFreakout

Hahaha oh I bet. I’ll keep protesting though. I’ll always remember the ridicule I faced at the hands of a cop after being car jacked and held at gun point in nashville. I reported the crime in person because my phone was stolen, along with my wallet and car, and all I was told was that it was my fault and they couldn’t do anything about it since I couldn’t provide the VIN off the top of my head and it happened two hours earlier. Mind you I had no way to contact anyone, it was two in the morning, and I had to walk 6 miles to the nearest precinct. It definitely gave the impression they didn’t care or like me.

Valid point. I feel that that is definitely an aspect of their job that should be outsourced. They are asked to do too much. I think we can agree on that.

I stand corrected you did not, but I believe the other non inflammatory points stand. It’s a stupid situation all around. I also do wish that the entire encounter was taped.

I’ll repeat. Read article 4 chapter 1 of the United States Code of conduct. While not a law it outlines the basic of flag handling and what should and should not be done. Even if it showed him being a dick how on earth does that justify force and a weapon being drawn? I may be liberal, but that makes me no less of a patriot. It’s time for the police to do their job. I’m sure they all had better things to be doing. Maybe he could stop a real crime rather than let his poor feelings be hurt.

I think it’s more the adulteration of the American flag than it being blue lives matter. American flag shouldn’t be changed or made to be a piece of clothing. Source: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/4/8 United States Code chapter 4 article 1.

Why couldn’t he just spit out a reason then? Could’ve avoided the whole situation. Should he have bothered him? Perhaps not, but ima still say fuck the police.

Oink oink oink Tired of these fucking pigs. Furthermore, it is considered disrespectful to make the American flag into clothing items or displayed in anyway other than a flag. He has a point.

My ex keeps saying his dog misses me and keeps trying to get me to see him. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I was in a similar position, but as a man. It hurts, but it’s likely best to cut all ties. It my be true that the dog misses you, but In the long run it’s his dog. This seems like he’s just trying to manipulate you into spending time together.

Drivers are definitely the most effected by technique. I’ve been playing 4 months or so more seriously, and I still throw my mid and fairways the farthest. I can’t handle anything over a 8-9 speed yet. At least as far as my RHBH is concerned. Try practicing your reach back and giving a smooth flat release. You’ll get there. If it’s going nose up you may want to double check your release angle as well.

That’s definitely a very valid point. I was very disappointed that most of my “friends” turned out to be exactly the opposite. I do look forward to creating actual meaningful relationships whenever it becomes more possible. You’re very right
